Hi,
Use a group to route your cajon into it then into ythe matrix :
Cajon > Group > Matrix
Don’t forget to unassign the cajon to LR
Cheers
Hello,
I prefer to use a dedicated processor for the FOH but if i can’t have one I use the GEQ for the room and if I have bad frequencies I use PEQ with 1/9 bandwith because it’s more precise 🙂
No matter what’s the signal chain you use as long as the mix is good… “Show must go on”
Cheers
Hi,
If you need only an L-R, use an external audio/video recorder 🙂
If you need multitrack, maybe with AES/EBU but how, that is the question :/
To Follow
I like your design !
Could you share it please ?
Definitely +1, like on ProTools an option to “automaticly short’ our label would be also great

If you want a buss into a buss you have to take the first buss by an physical output then re inject it into an physical input and select the source in your second bus 😉
But you will not keep the phase coherency !
@KeithJ,
Thanks ! That’s what I’m looking for !!!
Cheers
In really, we just need the trim on the Main L-R, Mix and group.
I agree on every output it would be awesome but it’s “just” a 3000$ mixer 😉
Cheers
For sure but very limited (3 stéréo out max) …
Totally agree !
I dream of having the same softkeys as the iLive series with their personalization parameters
If you use the same console (console + ipad for monitor), assign a softkey with a mute of an empty channel and it’s make light !
But a good idea, +1
Thanks !
I think you set the width of the PEQ to maximum – or?
Yes that’s it, in France we say “minimum” like the graph but you understand it 🙂
In this day and age no one who is serious about it uses a GEQ to tune a system.
Totally agree, my post was for the ring out and omni mic like DPA who loves feedback
This is not a problem !
GEQ is more intended to tune a room while PEQ is then used on specific mics for various reasons.
I know it
I see success as bandwidth like a cut.
I can not find what suits me the most to equalize my wedges, on the one hand I find the GEQ very greedy to just cut a few frequencies but on the other hand I can not manage with only my 4 bands of EQ.
This is why I would have liked before buying the Digi GEQ to know if the equalization bands were tighter, since being in France I have a tax of 20% …
I know I can’t have the same result as the Waves X-FBDK but I would like to be as close as possible.
Hi,
it’s possible !
Go to setup > Mixer Config > Role and click on Listen Level.
Then your “+1” fader (full right) is your volume for monitoring.
To control the headphones level use on board rotaries 😉
