That’s why you‘re not tuning your PA with Main LR processing. That’s what Matrices are for.
Every processing on Main LR is just for mixing purposes, at least I handle it that way (just like you would process your master in a DAW).

Then I use matrices for tuning and time aligning PA, Subs and fills.

Id actually favour a non preamp 1HE of 2HE Version of the sq, at max something like 8/4 + some TRS in/outs.
Make ist as small and cheap as possible!

Cause lets face the facts, why would we all all choose a SQ – Pac over Qu? enhanced DLive Processing and optional Preamps + the availabilty of Option cards like waves and Dante!

Id grab one of those instantly despite having a sq 5 <3

So … 2 years later, whats the official stand on an SQ Pac in the near future? I own a SQ 6 and would love me a rackversion of it and would rather not purchase M32C (i still find sq 5 clunky for rackmounting)

Make sure you choose the right SQ Model when generating the key on the A&H website. You gotta choose the DeEsser for SQ7 the other ones wont work

You gotta assign a softkey for it. But on SQ5 you can at least use mixpad to get access to softkeys the desk has not physically available, so u are Not forced to give up one of the few softkeys the sq5 offers

Unlikely imo, you can get hypabass for free right now so it wouldnt make much sense
