We use the same SQ7 for live and Streaming Mix. So a seconde Person is managing the second Mix on an Aux Bus in a separate room with the PC App. So having a seconde PFL would be great. We could reduce the number of Matrix busses if needed.

please add some option how the operator can see that the desk is set to another mix than LR.

Maybe in the setup to choose between
    -Channel Displays flashing
    -Channel Displays invert
    -Warning in the main display
-Flashing / Glowing of the top LED bar
    – other ideas

Working with lay people like in our church need such options

on the Android App there is the option to set the fader to “fine” so the fader is moving only half the way of the way the finger does.

That would be very smart to have more control in the details.

    Hi Keth,

beside the reasons I already mentioned I found another on. On the Qu series there is no Windows and no Android Mixing App available. But the SQ Series does support all that channels.

Because in our site I give support through teamviewer and Windows Mixing App (on the Behringer X32 Rack) I cannot switch to the QuSeries, and the SQ5 is not suitable for rack installation.

It would be great to be able to customise the behaviour:
„What happens when selecting Main Mix, Monitor or FX Bus“

For users that work with different colours on the channels the topic idea would not help. What if the channel Displays (only the Channel Display) start to blink every 2 or 3 seconds when selecting Monitor or FX.

Working on the monitormix St FOH is normally only a thing of seconds, Sontheimern blinking would not be to harsh, but it is visible enough to be aware of the situation.

It was also discussed if the Color of the LED Desklight could change, when NOT the Main Mix is selected. Or maybe that could blink.

So there are a bunch of options and maybe the user can activate the one and/or the other option in the settings for his kind of work. Otherwise there is always the risk to not see which bus is selected. A problem especially when you work with lay people like in churches.

Yes, it would be helpful to have more / 6 Mono Matrix Bus, that could optionale be paired to 3 stereo ones like with the input channels.

I think if the app „SQ control“ would be available like with the Qu Series your problems would all be solved on a very smart way.

    Vote for the feature request.

We also work in our church with the RTA on the PEQ regularly (at the with the X32, too). Since the SQ does not has that feature it is one reason not to switch to the SQ series.

The X32 even Display the RTA/PEQ combination on its IPad App and also on the Windows Software.

I want to bring this topic up again.

The App „Qu Control“ is a Perfect solution for events and fixed installations where lay people need to adjust a defined small number of faders or parameters. For example in churches or schools. For some events the „professionals“ are using the big console to mix band and more. For other events the „lay people“ need to adjust only one or two mics.

So one reason to NOT buy the SQ series for our church / main room is that we are missing an equivalent „SQ control“ app with a customizable surface. The options could be identical to the app „Qu Control“.

A three Channel surface would look like this (see attached picture)

    Thanks for supporting that request.

    Hello LTsound,

you have my full support to that request.

Using the QU-PAC in fixed installations like conferenc rooms or churches and sanctuarys there is always the need of using delaylines or monosums for separate areas and rooms. The QU-Pac is most times not installed where the stage is, so using the AR2412 would be extra money and would also block the option to add AB168 stageboxes on the front.

A seconde, extended request on that topic.
If it would become possible to patch all Buses freely to the local outputs it would be great to have more options than an 1:1 option. Like it is possible to route a monosum or a pre-mix of the LR to the AltOut it would be perfect to have that option for all stereobusses to all local outputs (Mono+Stereo more important, Pre+Post Fader less important)

    Applications.

Routing Group 1+2 (Mono) to Output 10 for the children’s room.
Routing Matrix 1+2 (Mono) to Output 7 and 8 to have two identical Mono outs connecting two amplifier channels with several delay speakers.

    Hi Keith,

let me notice some points why the Qu-PAC isn‘t an option.

    1) The Qu-Pac does not allow free patching of the outputs.

    1) The Qu Series does not offer a Dante Option.

I bought a Qu-Pac to test it. The plan was to use several ones in different rooms of our church because of the simple user interface and the App „Qu-Control“. But not being able to route different busses like eg matrix 1/2 for the delayline to the local outputs is very strange. The is an K.O. criteria for using Qu-PAC. Adding an AB Stagebox in the controlroom where I need no further inputs, only output is a waste of Money and Space. Also it will lower the number of Stageboxes I would maybe need to use on stage. (The controlroom with amping is opposite of the stage).

But while the SQ series does not offer a similar configurable app „SQ-Control“ and there is no 19“ rackversion with an easy front interface and less rackheight like the QU-Pac I have no solution for fixed installations in our venue.

If I could use Dante on Qu-PAC I could build a network to distribute audio to all the rooms. The would be the bonus point for an SQ-PAC Version.
