Could you explain what you mean by reconnect? Do you have to delete the control surface and re-configure it?

Seems like a great update, but i have not installed it yet. Interesting stuff about being able to use a Qu and SQ together, can anyone explain how exactly this would work? Would the two mixers simply be sharing the same inputs and preamps from the Dsnake?

I would definitely invest in a UPS with surge protection if i were going to run that off a generator. That should smooth out the power supply to your desk.

See page 38 of the manual. Direct out settings. Turn “Follow Fader” ‘on’ if you want the direct out to use the LR fader for that channel. Also you can go post insert/EQ/Comp etc if you want to include any of those in your signal to the DAW.

Any talk about scribble strips is obviously about some sort of a second generation QU desk. Rest assured no one is expecting to get scribble strips magically on a firmware update.

There is not much need to bring usb into the picture since most if not all bluetooth receivers have 3.5 mm audio jacks.

There is a routing screen for qu-drive where you can select what you want to record on those tracks. By default 1-16 would be on inputs 1-16, its possible that the selections for 1 and 2 were changed to a mix or something else.

To me, the logical progression is to put the 32 core into a qu-16 format. And as a part of that update, add some more minor bells and whistles that people have been asking for, like spectrograph overlay on eq, and HPF on mix outs. I think plugins on this platform is kind of asking for a lot.
