I got bitten by this when I split a stereo channel into two monos. You’d expect both sides of the pair to keep the same settings until changed, right. No, the right side of the pair was now being recalled by EVERY scene change, including all the scenes I’d set up for changing the surface brightness etc – therefore I call this a bug rather than a lacking feature!

You can send a aux to an aux, but you have to first route/return the first aux to a channel. There is a latency cost associated with this, I haven’t measured the amount. I think the same is true of groups.

We’re now stuck without ipad for five months, as we won’t update our dLive to 1.8 until our next off-the-road production day in September.

Lesson learned ( set ipad to not update apps), but damage done.

I’m sorry Steffen, I simply want some inputs’ patch to be recall safe, and others not.

There are some ‘split’ channels that I want to be able to have patched differently from scene to scene, and there are some channels reserved for emergencies that I want to be able to repatch on-the-fly, and not have those changes subsequently changed by the scene recalls.

(This is a feature that I took for granted with Yamaha consoles)

+1, I would also like to be able to only change the patch of certain channels – I’d like 64 of my channels to have their input patch recall-safed, the others to be dynamic. I don’t understand why, when everything else on the global recall grid is SO detailed, input patch just gets a single button!

+1, and I would like to be able to select multiple scenes to import, too.

I will be importing ALL songs from the previous day’s show, every day, so that I have backups to hand in case something breaks. It will get tedious!

+1, I’d like to be able to use softkeys to jump to different bookmarked pages, for example:
– USB playback
– test signal assign
– PAFL settings (eg to switch additive mode on or off quickly)

+1, Yes, this is one of my big wants.
I’m quite bemused by the lack of ability to move scenes around in the master list – I know it’ll get messy very quickly, and clearing/reimporting scenes is going to be happening on a regular basis until this is sorted!
