dhak,
You might want to re-post this in the Troubleshooting section.2014/11/09 at 11:50 pm #42922As long as you don’t have to eq anything. You can’t do that with the Qu-You app.
2014/11/08 at 1:35 pm #42874Sorry, I misread your post where you said Mixes. In my brain I was thinking inputs.
I don’t understand why anyone would assign L/R to a DCA but I’m no expert.
2014/11/08 at 2:20 am #42863DCA’s are confusing at first. And yes, they are for raising and lowering a set of channels simultaneously. They won’t do anything at all if the faders that are assigned to them are all the way down. Try setting the DCA fader at unity gain. Then adjust the mix of the assigned faders. Finally, move the DCA fader up and down.
They are normally used as a master fader for all the drums or all the backing vocals or all the whatever.
2014/11/08 at 2:12 am #42862There is a known issue where if you mute ST-3, the noise will stop. Could this be the issue you experienced?
2014/10/23 at 12:00 am #42432What are you talking about? I don’t understand what you are asking for.
2014/10/17 at 1:49 pm #42292The bad news is it’s gone. The good news is you probably won’t do that again. I did the same thing last summer. I’ll never replace the recording but I won’t forget the lesson…
2014/10/17 at 1:46 pm #42291I had no idea what you meant by “Use in anger”. I thought you were just mad.
2014/10/15 at 8:28 pm #42248You can pinch anywhere within the EQ grid. Select the band that you want to change by touching the dot.
Place a finger near the upper left corner of the grid. Place another finger (even from a different hand) anywhere within the grid and move it left or right.2014/10/11 at 1:32 pm #42129I forgot to ask if you have the latest firmware installed. and XAP is right. You could always assign the address manually.
2014/10/11 at 4:25 am #42125It’s unlikely but if the E2500 isn’t configured to provide more than one address, that would cause this behavior. A clue would be to plug in the mixer only to see if it gets an address.
Have you tried different cables?
2014/10/08 at 8:26 pm #42078The PAFL Buttons are available at the bottom of the Qu-Pad App. An in-ear Tx/Rx and a pair of headphones is the way to go.

If you are recording, I think an external drive plugged into the Qu-Drive is the simplest solution. If you are indeed streaming, have you considered utilizing the AES output from the mixer?
2014/10/07 at 3:03 pm #42065The problem is volume. It’s probably a small number of people that need them so it costs more to manufacture.
2014/10/07 at 1:25 pm #42059According to the A&H Qu Mixer MIDI Protocol V1.5
Active Sensing
Qu supports MIDI Active Sensing over its TCP/IP Ethernet connection to detect connection status. Qu will send an initial Active Sense byte (FE) once an Ethernet connection is established, and then once every 300ms or so during any period of inactivity. In other words, the mixer needs to see a message from the connected device every 1/3 of a second or it will disconnect.
When you switch apps, QuPad is inactive and cannot send anything to the mixer. So, in a word, no. There is nothing you can do.You could buy another iPad if you have the dough. That might be the easiest solution.
