that’s not exactly what I’m looking for. The user should be able to store and recall scenes. But I want to prevent one Scene as the “Initial Scene” to be safe from beeing overwritten. This scene holds all the routing stuff, EQs and so on for the house system…

that’s exactly what I wanted to know. Nice to read that i wasn’t too far away. The idea of ganging the two matrix for using one EQ is great.

Hi Stuart,
we are using a RME HDSPe MADIFACE. It has a ExprexxCrad/34 connector for Notebooks. There is also a HDSP MADI card for desktop computers with a PCI express interface. I’m not shure if there is a USB solution because MADI has a high data rate and needs a stable and accurate clock signal. More about RME: http://www.rme-audio.com

Protools as IMHO no MADI interface. But there are 3rd party solutions – MADI to protools converter (Solid State Logic) for example.

I tried to share one physical input. Strip A is the “gain setting” strip. When I activate TRIM ON SURFACE on the second Strip which should be the “follower strip” both strips change to TRIM.

I’m using 1.53.
