As i mentioned in SQ Forum yesterdays:
Did a little research today and found douzends of similar requests over the years and all consoles (GLD, SQ, d-Live, Avantis) for the
SOFT MUTE / TEMPORARY RELEASE RETURN TO MUTE GROUP / SWITCHABLE HARD/SOFT MUTE BEHAVIOR
and so on
What the hell makes it so difficult to create this industry standard feature???

Quite disappointing. More than four years later and nothing happened.
Question to the developers:
Whats the reason for not implementing industry standard mute system options other than this fixed hard mute DCA style muting?
Yes, good idea. Anything flashing to indicate ‘mix mode’ would be great. Flashing integrated LED illumination for the overworked tired touring engineer as an option would be helpful.
That’s the typical difference between engineering an marketing. 😁
In the concept of AVANTIS 36 faders would make more sense.
Please don’t wait to long releasing the editor. Each soundman who’s pleased and comes to grips with the editor is a potential purchaser or supporter of the product.
Don’t make the mistake you made two times before.
Old topic formerly misleading but now titled correct for the real successor.
Actual rumors?
Yes indeed.
A ‘less weight, less screen, more faders’ (than c1500) version to control the mix rack would be great!
Agree, for a higher input channel count it should be up to the users decision to work with a ‘one point stage box solution’ (2 × DX2412) near amp city + analog subsnakes or ‘distributed system’ (DXhub + 3 x DX168) or anything between.
DX32 will be too expensive for most SQ users.
Yes you’re right the SMRs sound more realistic than any spx and the plates do a quite satisfying job. In addition it’s neither forbidden to connect any vintage hardware unit that you find in a corner of your store or you can buy for small money to your mixer to give its unique texture to your reverb repertoir nor restricted to add a waves card to a slot. But one single high level algo would be nice …
I also would be pleased by better reverbs in dLive as well as in DiGiCo SDs.
