Bump so it makes it in the wishlist for the first 2024 firmware update 🙂
Am I allowed to bump this? If not, I apologize and will delete
+ 1!
Of course I could, my problem is that I’d like to have the fader always available as master fader outside the 16 fader bank
Thanks for the replies, I just hope that a new firmware update introduces hi-pass possibility on outputs
bumping this in hope to get a reply from the admins
Good news! (but still no HPF on mix outputs)
Sorry for the hi-jacking, but since we’re talking about PEQ: what bandwidth value on A&H digital desks equals a Q of 1.4 or 1.6 (as in many old analog consoles)?
thanks!
Thanks for all the replies… I almost always use the QU with a AR2412 stage box, keep stereo channel 1 (17/18) as local stereo in for my laptop but often use st2 and 3 on the stage box (channels 19/20 and 21/22) as keyboard or sequencer stereo inputs panned hard L and R, so when sent to e.g. stereo aux 5-6 and only mix out 5 is connected to a wedge, only the L part of those stereo channel will go to the wedge. Same for other panned instruments like OH’s, toms, brass or choir sections, you name it.
Almost the same as the post above: I was ready to get rid of my GLD and Qu-16 and buy a couple of sq5’s with sLink cards, but the new firmware update isn’t enough for me (I need HPF on all outputs and a LR+M or mono matrix option) and the DEEP plugins are way too expensive considering, as someone already pointed out, that they already exist and are already implemented for free on other A&H models.
Hi, I think the fastest way would be to use a stereo aux set to post-fader for the recorder, so that when you move a fader on the main mix it moves proportionally on the stereo aux
briefly: bigger FX library, more routing options (mono/stereo matrixes and groups, LCR/LR+M options, more aux outputs…), HPF/LPF options on all ins and outs, bigger screen…
HPF of course! Sorry for the mistake
