No probs – love the A&H products – good luck with the magnetic strip – has worked well for me for years and I use alcohol wipes to get the sharpie ink off when necessary.
Cheers!
2019/08/21 at 7:11 am #85954Hi Mixsit – magnetic strip that I sourced has never had the curly edge issue or needed tape to hold it down. Try this link for my stuff and just pick colour and height in mm for a 10m roll. https://www.theworkplacedepot.co.uk/magnetic-easy-wipe
Cheers.

2018/05/11 at 6:21 am #70938Have you tried the Disk Utility app on OS X to format the drive to FAT32? Think that works with drives >32gb.
2018/03/11 at 1:06 pm #69492This should help – look at the notes for 1.90 and 1.92:

2018/02/06 at 8:24 am #68717The Qu-Control App is also worth investigating.
2017/06/07 at 3:23 pm #63743Thanks for the comments guys.
Seems the iPad 2 will only go up to iOS 9.5.3 so can’t install iOS 10 on it. This link may help for anyone who comes after:
The Qu-Pad App specifies iPad running iOS 7.1 or above – e.g. iPad 1 not suitable, I think.
2017/01/10 at 9:03 am #60464Absolutely agree with MarkPAman – the Qu-Control app can do lots of things in addition to just levels. Seems it’s usefulness should be promoted a bit more.
2017/01/10 at 8:56 am #60463Plenty of great suggestions for feature upgrades so maybe a firmware upgrade for Qu and Qu-Pad for NAMM 2017, 19-22 Jan?
V1.9 was May 2016 so maybe we are also due an upgrade?
2016/12/14 at 3:08 pm #59868P40 (Mix Routing) of the latest manual suggestes that you can select post or pre EQ for the monitor mixes:
Choose Pre-EQ for a monitor mix if you do not want the channel EQ to affect the monitor.
2016/12/14 at 2:49 pm #59867Yes, for monitor levels but pretty sure EQ will be same as FOH – need to check that as I don’t have my Qu-24 in front of me.
2016/12/14 at 2:36 pm #59866Does the Qu-SB fit in a shallow 4U flight case? Qu-Pac fits in this one:

2016/08/24 at 6:34 am #57793Thanks for the quick response Harry.
Just another suggestion following your comments – not sure on the coding requirements to implement the full protocol for inputing external MIDI messages, but maybe a restricted set of allowable MIDI commands which would cover typical footswitch type operations would help to limit the time to code, debug, etc.
Thanks again.
2016/08/22 at 9:29 am #57764Good post and thanks to the OP for starting this discussion.
Just another possibility for footswitch control but would probably need comment from Harry or Nicola from A&H on integration with QU-Pad or QU-Control on an iOS device.
Use the iRig BlueBoard:
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigblueboard/
with the Midiflow app:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/midiflow-midi-router-processor/id879915554?mt=8
to send midi commands to QU-Pad and/or QU-Control apps to control mutes, etc. I’m not familiar with the way these apps communicate/work at the coding level, hence the need for comment from A&H.
Anyway, just a thought!
