I would also like to use “true” split screen. As my bands sound engineer and singing bassist, it would be excellent to have full control of the mixer as well as my apps for lyrics on the other side of the screen. I realise that QuPad uses a lot of energy talking to the mixer, but a lyric app wouldn’t slow that down much would it?

The Mackie MyFader app does the full (half and half) split screen just fine… But I don’t like using that desk!

I was being a dummy. I edited the file names which was causing then to not show. I’ve sorted it now.

Ok. so I may have been a silly boy.

Sorted it.. by using “Format” on the Qu16. DOH!!!

Anyone else having trouble updating to the new firmware?

I’m using the usual USB stick. First I’m “erasing” the disk with my Mac then moving the firmware download to the USB.
When I plug in the USB to the Qu16 it shows that the v1.8 update is recognised but the button to “update” is greyed out, even after a minute of two of waiting.

Any ideas?

I don’t need to be eating no mo’ mixes! I will already be using 5 of them at least.

It sounds like my only solution currently, is an analog one.

I read somewhere about patching the signal to a specific output on the dsnake, but does that then mean you can still use the “local” inputs?

I would be running 5 separate monitor mixes from QU16, and then need at least all of the 8 outputs at the AB168.
