Are we ever going to get this? Just seems so easy to implement

Expander is single handedly the top desire I have for this console and I wouldn’t care if I had to pay for it.
I already bought 4x Neve 545 I run as inserts, I also own SuperRack and regularly use PSE on the SQ Waves option card.
I could leave them at home, finally.2021/02/14 at 8:17 am #98907Yes though about that too, as you mentioned phase issues and it just isn’t very elegant.

Yes, problem is I’m “hacking” my way into having two insert channels since SQ can only have 1 insert per channel.Money channel insert is DynEQ4
Money buss insert is a Neve 5045 & UBK Clariphonic.Ultimately looking to have those buss down into my vocal buss with Opt comp to glue all vox together.
I understand this is asking a lot for a small console, just trying to maximize what’s at hand.

2021/02/12 at 7:13 pm #98858I’m already way too short on matrices unfortunately

2020/12/08 at 1:24 am #97048I wouldn’t be expecting much, if any, audio companies jumping on M1 architecture. My guess is it’ll be a year until we start seeing things being ported as it’s a full re-write.
Lots of things work inside M1 due to Apple including a “backwards compatibility” feature, but I wouldn’t use it for anything mission critical. More a proof of concept and convenience for basic usage.
Keep in my the SQ is class compliant, which means the SQ will work on a M1 Mac by default.
2020/11/12 at 6:42 pm #96304Unfortunately the issue has reared its ugly head again.
Even after a full reinstall and factory wipe, the problems still persist.
99% sure this isn’t a hardware issue since console was totally fine until the day I installed v1.5.1
2020/11/11 at 10:23 am #96278Great, thanks Keith!
2020/10/15 at 2:14 am #95763Just an update as I’ve finally got around to this.
I did a factory reset (holding EQ and HF in during boot) and the problems still persisted.
Did a firmware update again (1.5.1 over 1.5.1) and it seems to have worked *knocking on wood, literally*
I’ll leave it on doing nothing for a few hours and make sure the ghosts have left.
If I don’t post back, assume this was the fix for anyone in the future with this strange issue.
2020/09/12 at 4:13 pm #94838I’ll try re-installing the firmware at some point today.
I’ll also do a backup then full factory reset to wipe out all settings, maybe there’s something tiny setting they missed moving to 1.5.1?
2020/09/10 at 10:52 pm #94791I feel like it’s software. Everything was fine (except the screen freezing) before I upgraded to v1.5.1
v1.5.1 caused this to happen literally 5 minutes after the update, and continues to sporadically happen. Sometimes within minutes, sometimes 20, but it always happens at some point.
