Read the manual starting from page 88 and in some point (=page 91) there is:
A laptop running Editor can control the iLive using a wired or wireless
connection to any iLive NETWORK port.iLive T-112 + IDR-48

I think that this has been the case in few versions earlier.

2011/04/08 at 10:31 pm #27918“Deleting Library” in Library Manager actually deletes only individual memories or settings, not all library content if you choose memories under “Parametric EQ”.
Just mark those memories and click Delete Library and confirm.Or maybe I didn’t understood this right.

2010/09/18 at 9:50 pm #26457Try with another USB stick.
I had same type problems when updating to 1.63 earlier this year. I had three different USB sticks and console recognized only one stick of those three. I sent one stick, which didn’t work, to AH and got this answer from Chris:“At last we have some news on the USB stick problem.
USB stick manufacturers are using multiple memory segments to create larger sticks. For instance, an 8GB stick may comprise 8x 1GB segments. During manufacture, these segments sometimes join perfectly, sometimes have a gap between them and sometimes the joins overlap.
On a stick where segmants overlap, Linux is unable to handle the ‘structure’ and will not see our files. The way the segments join is not an issue with Windows and Mac so the USB device manufacturing industry is not too concerned.”

+ 1 I aggree on that – at the moment if you lose one channel of a stereo source the only way to make the remaining channel mono (ie to feed both L & R outputs) is to assign through a group. If you don’t have a group set up then this can take valuable time. Also sometimes stereo sources need to be mono’d up a bit live so the audience can hear both parts if they near to only one PA stack.

IDR48/IDR16/T112/R72+1 for this. I just had that tricky situation when keyboard player broke his cable (connector) during the show by kicking the DI-box and then loosing one channel.

2010/06/26 at 12:38 pm #25812Yes, the PL controllers works without surface.
I’m using PL-10 for the same reason as simonstpauli does, which is that you get visual level feedback with PL-10 LEDs.iLive T-112 + IDR-48
2010/05/04 at 7:08 pm #25546I managed to make this update now with connection to T-112 surface and USB-key, so the reason for this problem is still unknown, but my systems firmware is updated ….. now.
We’ll see what happens with next update.iLive T-112 + IDR-48
2010/05/04 at 9:12 am #25543Same problem here, when I try to update 1.54 –> 1.63.
I get connection from PC to Mix Rack with 1.54 editor, but can’t update firmware,
Editor controls Mix Rack as it should, and everything seems to be fine.
When I try to update firmware, Editor finds the right firmware to update (Firmware 1.63.zip) and shows also
that Mix Rack needs firmware update.
After update confirmation software informs: Connecting units –> Updating Mix Rack IDR Mix Rack……
waiting about 1-2 minutes……. and Error: Update failed!IDR48
