Within the same price range as the QSC stuff, but much better in my opinion, are the Yamaha DSR series. Meyer, Danley, etc. are all great but substantially more.
2015/03/17 at 4:51 pm #46017I can think of a number of different use cases where this would be very helpful. Even if some of the items or devices attached were read-only, but had configurable views.
2014/11/06 at 4:21 pm #42783I’d love to tag this to the end of the “multiple iDevice” thread, but I get logged out as soon as I try. Site bug again?
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS!! and thanks on the Qu-You and the new firmware release. It’s getting better all the time. Is there any possibility that the Qu-You app might be available on Android in the near future? Some of my band members use that.
2014/10/07 at 3:00 pm #42064Fantastic! I was hoping that some of the low-hanging fruit like this might soon be plucked. Thank you!
2014/10/05 at 1:29 am #42026I’ll have to see if I can set up midi through to the USB port, but I’m pretty sure USB on the AxeFX is in only. Hmmm.
Please keep me posted on the pedal progress.
2014/09/26 at 6:01 pm #41849Interesting. So it would basically be able to relay CC messages and so forth through the TCP/IP port? Does it have a standard MIDI in port on it? Are you marketing this?
2014/09/26 at 4:56 pm #41847Thanks for the reference to the Popper Blocker. I may give that a try. I’ve tried fine-mesh stainless and some other things in there…I wonder what the material actually is (“carbon fiber type material”)?
Everything I know about doing this indicates that the steepest reduction in plosives would come from a multi-stage screen, with some significant gap between the stages. Unfortunately, on the PR-35, there is very little room between the front of the main screen and the element.
2014/09/26 at 4:00 pm #41844Dangit, George… giving me GAS again!
2014/09/10 at 8:23 pm #41521Thank you, all! Nice to check back in after a week or so and find that things are improved this much.
2014/09/10 at 8:17 pm #41519Anybody else? Am I the only one who keeps getting fooled by this issue?
2014/08/28 at 7:12 pm #41457+1. Having some of these in strategic places to allow speaker protection of a sort as well as a semi-crossover (or even a real one!) on outputs would be welcome.
2014/08/28 at 6:29 pm #41456UN…BE…LIEVE…A…BULL!
It is getting even slower. A Raspberry Pi would be an improvement.
A&H, have you any idea how this affects public perception of you? At least some of us purchased based on interacting with the public forum. You are actually losing sales because of the abysmal performance of your forum.
Only the most determined people will bother to even look here at this point, and the longer you wait to fix this, the longer it will take to recover people you have lost. If you ever get them back at all.
2014/08/07 at 2:09 pm #41287I have noticed for some months now that the page refreshes on this forum are not what I would call snappy. In fact, it’s more like
1. Click on link text
2. Wait for literally a minute or so
3. Get the page that you clicked onKudos for step 3 happening correctly, at least. But step 2? This day and age, for a major company to have that happen for a day or two during an equipment change or something is tolerable. But to have it as an ongoing state looks just terrible, and seriously affects usability of the site. And I don’t seem to have this issue with other servers that I connect with in Europe.
Please upgrade whatever the necessary equipment.
Can I get a witness?
2014/07/24 at 3:25 pm #41021Dang. Okay, I had missed that. Thanks!
Does the output patching for the Qu Drive get saved with the scene, or is this going to be another one of those things I have to double check every time?
2014/06/29 at 4:47 am #40424Thank you much for the input. That makes sense about wanting to retain the tails on reverbs and delays. I just didn’t know if there were other reasons such as monitors or something.
