    @nicola,

    one still learns. 🙂
    I have tested it once more. Wedge is sent directly to the PAFL L/R outputs. (!?)
    Only IME outputs are regulated with the IEM fader value.
    Why is this thus?

    Hi Nicklas,
    unfortunately, there I cannot help. Though wedge and IEM are separated outputs, however, there is only one PAFL button per fader.

    Hi Niclas,

    I/O
    stPAFL L/stPAFL R = wedge (stereo out)
    Wedge = wedge (mono out)
    stIEM L/stIEM R = IEM (stereo out)

    It is independent whether In stereo or mono. All channels with active PAFL button are on wedge and IEM. Otherwise the main signal is to be heard there optionally (see screenshot).

    Hi,
    in the I/O settings can be patched for Wedge PAFL or IEM to outputs (see Screenshot). Have you already done this?

    I am surprised that only with IEM the fader regulates the gain to the patched output what does not function with the Wedge.
    With the wedge it is sent with the PAFL button always directly to the exit, independent of the value of the wedge fader.

    Hello Nicola,
    singles stereo fader strip can be activated apparently only for input channals in the MixRack. In the Surface (input 1-8) this direct option is not possible. Only they AES/EBU input channals 9/10 an 11/12 are single stereo fader strip. Or have I overlooked what?
    The direct option in the dLive does not have the GLD also in the Expander. This was the reason for my question in the GLD forum.

    @michael: But which of 128 input channals (manual page 41) is the 8 xlr inputs of the Surface?

    Thanks for the help!

    This is not the desired option. As well as with MixRack there should also be for the Surface the option set two channels as single stereo fader strip.
    See here: https://www.allen-heath.com/media/dLive-Firmware-Reference-Guide-V1.3.pdf page 41.

    It is a pity, RGBW LEDs would have been better. 🙁
    Thanks for the information.

    Thanks! This I have already considered. However, it is not so comfortable. 🙁

    However, Ganging still uses two faders and combines any parametres with these. However, only a single physical fader should be used. With it one has on the GLD80 more place for different input channels with stereo-signals.
