Hi,
maybe A&H could add a user option to choose the measure point 🙂
Cheers2023/01/31 at 1:21 pm #111217Hi,
for information on my SQ-6 (february 2018) I have now some faders which move more slowly at certain operating ranges (and it’s my personnal mixer, used in normal condition). No control issue.
My first idea was to order new faders but before I opened my SQ to check them.
After removing the faders which were slower, I could see that the pulley on which the belt is positioned didn’t turn freely all the time.
I put some lub on the pulley shaft and now my fader is back to normal speed.
I’m still going to order a few faders in advance just in case.Best
2023/01/26 at 2:14 pm #111139Hi @KeithJ A&H
As I said, I ask the question because I saw on the fader manufacturer’s website that there was a “touch sensitive” version.
Don’t be sorry 🙂 Personally I’m not in studio environment (but it might do me a favor only occasionally).
I thought of an evolution of the firmware, thank you for the explanation on the hardware part.

Check this doc to see the supported SLink connections https://www.allen-heath.com/media/SLinkConnections_V1_5_0.pdf
If you use dante card (but actually it’s very hard to buy one) you can use DT168 stagebox on dante card and Me system on the SLink port (need 2 cables). You can connect Me system directly on 48 KHz stagebox AR2412 (Me port) and AB168 (extension port) and 96 KHz stagebox GX4916 (Me port).
2022/10/05 at 2:15 pm #109357A possibility that has already been mentioned for the de-esser would be that we have the possibility to choose between gate and de-esser on a channel.
This would probably limit CPU usage and we could have it on all tracks ?Cheers
2022/03/27 at 8:15 pm #106579Bonjour,
Voici une procédure à faire pour récupérer des fichiers comme dans ton cas. C’est la version pour les SQ mais c’est semblable sur les QU.
2022/02/18 at 9:05 am #106090It would be great to have this option.
You can post it in the SQ feature suggestions forum.I think SQ haven’t this probably beacause Groups have direct acces by a knob : press group knob flip to group, adjust and push group knob again to flip back on the previous layer.
Acces to Spill need also to press one knob.2022/01/18 at 7:35 am #105439Thanks again Keith for your explanations. I had read this page but I had not understood this subtlety 😉

Flo2021/06/15 at 8:40 am #101905Hi,
I’m an happy SQ/Qu buyer and user but to be honest I moderate my enthusiasm:even if A&H support is good and listens to customer, I agree that the software development part is for me the weak point of the brand. In my experience I bought my QU and my SQ when they came out and several fonctions announced at the start were not present in the 1st firmware of each.
I don’t know how the development software is organised at A&H but it’s sn important point to improve.

2021/05/05 at 8:50 am #101113Hi,
Probably it’s not clearly indicated but in the I/O patch page the case background colour are not the same if the channel is already patched anywhere. 😉
2020/08/03 at 9:30 pm #93848Hi,
Check if all sources are correctly routed for the multitracks ?2020/05/19 at 9:20 am #91960Hi Andre,
cool videos you posted.
I see on your video you have Waves connected with your SQ, have you compared Waves/A&H compressors?
I’m particularly thinking of equivalent models.
I’m interested if you have sound for that because I have some waves plugins in my PC but I haven’t A&H compressors plugins on my SQ yet.
thanks 🙂2020/05/16 at 8:14 pm #91886Happy to hear I could help 😉
2020/05/16 at 7:38 am #91870Hi,
check if usb source on your Sq is on “USB-b”.
Since 1.5 the selection between USB-b and sq-drive mode has been moved from I/O page to setup (page where you can also choose between 96 or 48 KHz). -
