Looks really nice and clean!
Good old Dave Rat
Someone from that room just got assassinated. Way to go to reveal a leak. 😉
To get around this I have saved multiple shows and just recall those.
Or on different scenes I make sure to use the same input channels for my stereo inputs: scene 1, input 1/2, is my electric guitar but on scene 2, input 1/2 is a computer audio line.
I’ve chosen to stay on 1.2.2 until we see a 1.3.1. Unfortunately some people have already updated their iOS software.
I used Wireshark and could not find packets to/from the SQ. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I select the channel I want to copy from. Hold down copy and hit the EQ In button. Then select the channel I want to paste to, and hold down paste then hit EQ In.
Hi Gumby,
At my church we use a scene for each different service. It allows different inputs, faders, levels, etc.
What you have to watch out for is some input settings such as making an input channel stereo. Doing so will make it stereo on all scenes (found that out the hard way…).
Ok. I was thinking about that. Don’t other boards do it though?
Aren’t you supposed to set the pre-amp gain to 0 then adjust the fader volume as needed? I don’t really have any problems with “head room” on our sq6. In fact, we had to turn down our power amps quite a bit after we switched from the ML4000 to the SQ6.
Yann, a 2015 macbook pro has a built in SSD, so you should have no problem. The problem (at least in my case) was Logic settings. Take a look at this thread for more info: https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/collection-of-wishes
Basically, in Logic you need to change the “Project Settings” to be 48khz instead of 44.1 or whatever.
Let me direct you to this thread for some tips when you start looking at recording via USB: https://community.allen-heath.com/forums/topic/collection-of-wishes
This happens to me too. I have my soft rotaries assigned for the master volumes of the effect returns. Like you, the display goes off when nothing is selected but the rotary still controls the volume.
Is it not already the Mute? That is how it is on mine.
I’m not at my SQ right now but I think the Vocal Doubler effect has some what of a left to right panning. When I listen to it, the doubling sound moves from the left to the right and back. Again, I’m not at the board so I don’t know the exact effect name.
