more than one iPad at a time is not supported yet,

    UNBELIEVABLE,
why didn’t A&H finish designing this thing before they released it with so much of it broke?

    Incredible

I am always very impressed with B&H support.
It is so sad to read these horror stories of consoles just not working properly.
In the digital age, I am probably no different than anyone else, we tend to think it is always “software” related when in fact …. gosh,,
there are still buttons and switches and faders on these things 🙂

buttons and switches and faders OH MY!

Thanks Giga and Alex! I am familiar with the reset button in the upper left-hand corner but unfortunately, that flattens all the bands, not a huge deal though 🙂

I would like to mention a real strange issue that I discovered. It would be so nice to have an adjustment for the LCD contrast. I can’t remember now what I was instructing the sound guy to do, but he was on the QuPac screen and he kept saying… “there is nothing like that on the screen”…. then I looked over and it was right there, BUT, I was sitting in a chair with the display pointing right at me, as opposed to him,, he was standing but bent over looking at the display. Some of the tabs were clear and very easy to see, yet some were completley non-existant unless we were looking at it straight on.

What a nice unit that QuPac is!!!!!

    Hi NZdave,
I wanted to get a mono mix of the LR mix and compress/limit it for foyer speakers in a church installation that I just finished Thursday where I installed a new EV speaker system and a QU24 with AR2412.
The 70 volt amp that feeds the ceiling speakers in restrooms, hallways and foyer needs to remain at a reasonable “consistent” volume. I wanted to use the Alt Out knob so users could very easily adjust the volume of the peripheral speakers.

I decided to use the left side of Matrix 1-2 and use the processing in the Matrix out. This does not allow the ALT OUT knob to be used for that purpose, but it does accomplish what is more important and that is a heavily processed signal for bathrooms, hallways and foyer. Unfortunately, the matrix outputs are STUCK in stereo, and there is no way to combine the left and right for a mono output. So, in short, if I use the Matrix 1 output, the foyer speakers will not get any audio that is panned hard right in the LR mains. Not a big deal.

    “Forgot to mention SCRIBBLE STRIPS”

that is the Qu lines’ biggest downfall.
A&H knew the GLD line would lose sales to the GU line if it had scribble strips so that’s why it needs board tape and a sharpie 🙁

My new console no longer needs board tape and a sharpie or funky magnets.
And of course the iPad app has colored channels (imagine that) not to mention a ton of other very intuitve features that I won’t go into here out of respect for A&H and QU users because I still loved my Qu24 and purple boxes.

    95F?
are you kidding me? It poops out if it gets hotter than 95?
That thing would never work outside in the summer months in St. Louis either ;(
I guess you need to get some more fans for the Qpac. MAN OH MAN ! who knew

the most simple choice is to just send one side, left or right,
and don’t worry about whether or not the “other” channel of the stereo keys or reverb isn’t in the patio mix.

I had the roadcase custom made so that the Qu24 can stay in the bottom tray of the case and still breath like it needs to…
The case is still for sale but it would need to be sold to someone close to St. louis Missouri USA because shipping cost would ruin the deal.
    PM if interested. Dan
