Any info if this will be addressed in a future update?
2022/04/11 at 8:31 am #106785Another +1 for me. I absoultely agree with the opportunity to change to the screen wihout changing something on the EQ by just pressing one of the band buttons.
And also the HPF filter screen thing…2021/07/14 at 2:24 pm #102349I understand what you mean, but it’s a little bit misleading…
2021/07/09 at 5:17 pm #102281When I also allow „Preamp“, it works…
I think this is not as it is supposed to work…
2020/12/16 at 12:25 pm #97342Hi everybody,
I didn’t even know that such great MIDI help exists for QU and I would certainly find it useful if it would exist for SQ too!
Best regards,
Dieter2020/01/20 at 5:29 pm #88880Hi Keith,
Perfect explaination in every aspect. With this it didn’t take me more than 2 minutes to have everything working!
Really appreciate this support! In my opinion this would be worth to appear as sticky topic!Thank you very much!
Best regards,
Dieter2020/01/19 at 5:21 pm #88851Probably I have been misunderstood what my primary question is. 😉 It’s not so much about the difference between both drivers, instead I would like to know how the SQ driver is thought to be used without ASIO.
2019/08/05 at 7:21 pm #85690Interesting aspect Scott.
Then there is a problem with the reset show when you load the standard mixer role. Because with that show the names and colors are empty.Best regards,
Dieter2018/07/12 at 8:00 pm #72601Ok, my fault…
Always read the manual first. (RTFM)
It says that the custom layers are only saved in the IPad and are not stored with shows and scenes… (except one layer when enabled in app settings)Possibly there is no chance, because the Qu’s with interface don’t have them, but it would be really cool if this could be changed and the custom layout is saved with the show.
2018/03/29 at 4:46 pm #69971Hi Alex,
Thanks for your response and the clarification.
Shortly after I posted this topic I read again in the manual about the Qu drive routing and already got a clue that it could beas you explained.
Now it is absolutely clear.Thank you and kind regards,
Edi2017/08/25 at 7:30 am #64980And it even is more confusing…
Blocking “FX Send 8 level” blocks “FX Send 1 mute”…2017/08/25 at 7:29 am #64979I can confirm this bug. It’s even reproducable in GLD editor V1.51.
When you block the complete FX Send 8 and open the scene recall filter again, you see that also FX Send 1 is blocked.
I also tried different FX Send blocking. FX Send 2-7 blocking works as supposed. Blocking FX Send 1 does not work at all, as it seems that it always takes the blocking values from FX Send 8.Please A&H!!! We all know, that D-Live has the main focus now. But there are several bugs in GLD firmware around scene recall filters (and other regions) which need your attention, and Nicola told about a maintenance firmware release about a year ago…
2017/08/21 at 9:35 am #64904I can also confirm this problem.
I’ve got two computers, one running Windows 8 and one Windows 10. The problem exists on both. For the Windows 10 PC I can’t tell if the problem began when it was updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10, but for the Windows 8 machine I know that everything
worked flawlessly when I installed the editor… But now same problem as mentioned above. Probably a windows update did mess the things up?I tried a deinstallation and clean editor installation of version 1.51 but same problem again.
After recalling a scene strip assignment is no more possible.2017/08/21 at 9:24 am #64903Any update on this?
It’s now nearly a year since Nicola said A&H is working on a V1.52 maintenance release for GLD…
2017/01/12 at 1:19 pm #60516Hi Nicola,
I really would like to thank you for your attention on our concerns and absolutely agree in your opinions about the GLD ecosystem. Glad to hear about the maintenance release to address minor but sometimes really annoying issues.
Not to have a major firmware release in short term does not exclude to have one in general. 😉
In my opinion not each update has to be free, everything that has a worth can have a price and users are willed to pay if the upgrade makes sense to them like the Stealth Core upgrade from Digico. We all know that finite ressources have to be deployed in the order of priority (where new products have a higher priority for sure), but it really helps and ease our minds to know that the existing cutomers and owners of proven series like the GLD are not forgotten and at least get an sincere answer to their concerns.
Is there any (rough) schedule about the maintenance release?
With best regards,
Edi -
