I had the same thing happen very early on when I purchased my QU-16 around 2013 to one particular scene set up. I was never able to get the effects on that one scene to work correctly so I programmed a new scene and never had the same issue again on any of the dozens of scenes I have saved.
2021/05/03 at 2:19 am #101075Fo some reason I was blocked for a few minutes but wanted to add one more thing. There are some differences between the 2 units other than the screen on the QU PAC but nothing major IMO – Less ST channels, No 3.5mm input, no Alt out, soft buttons (from memory)…..
2021/05/03 at 2:08 am #101073I own both the QU-PAC and the QU-SB. I use the QU-PAC at shows and the SB comes with me as my back up. I like having the screen on the QU PAC available but although I mix wirelessly on my iPad Pro, recently I have been connecting my spare iPad mini directly to my WAP anyway so technically I have an iPad screen ready if I lost wireless connection. I use a RJ45 to lightning adaptor. The screen on the QU PAC is quite small anyway.
So if you have another iPad you could dedicate it to being connected when the mixer is being used so then it makes no difference whether you get the QU PAC or the QU-SB.2021/03/05 at 4:49 am #99536So I just checked my iPad Pro which is on iOS 14.4 and it is displaying channels incorrectly – so it seems it is the latest iOS version that is causing the problem.
2021/03/03 at 1:41 am #99463Hi Brian. Weird.. I edited my post earlier – at least I thought I did. I checked my personal iphone today and it works fine with QU-YOU so Yes it might be an OS version thing – I’m on 13.4
2020/12/29 at 12:41 am #97715Yeah, I do it all the time. I couldn’t get by without a D snake these days….
2020/12/23 at 11:20 pm #97611Darn, I assumed you were using a D snake for the extra mixes – however as Mike C said, without a D snake you can at least get one more stereo aux by using the Alt out. I’ve done that too….
2020/12/17 at 5:38 am #97393I have a Qu-PAC and assign stereo groups as stereo mixes – just like you would on a QU32 as Mike C suggested above.
2020/03/21 at 12:30 am #90414Do you have the ability to sum mono in the tablet? This can be done on iPads/iPhones etc.

Have you had success with any flash drives at aLL so far ?
Did you ever get to use the tried and trusted Sandisk Extreme (old version) and did that work for you?
I ask because I am starting to think maybe you simply have a defective QU Drive.
Have you used the USB port to record to DAW?
Sorry if you have answered these questions before.2020/01/22 at 12:43 am #88937Oh – one more thing. I am running V1.95.
2020/01/22 at 12:28 am #88936@ Mike C….. Like you I simply opened the new drives one by one and put them directly into the QU Drive – Format and ready to record. No computer in between.
@ Volunteer – What year is your QU mixer? I am wondering if it varies from batch to batch/ year to year.
Mine is an older one that I bought new. It has the weird glitch that some of the early models had – causes noise when recording to QU Drive with ST3 fader up.2020/01/21 at 11:20 pm #88931OMG… All 6 of mine work perfectly. I based my 1st purchase of the Kingston a few weeks ago on the positive comments here and when it arrived and checked out, I ordered 5 more. They all work… I don’t understand why we all get such different results using the same drives…
2020/01/10 at 11:24 pm #88675I’d be careful of any subsequent models until tested. That is what happened with the Sandisk Extreme. A lot of people bought the current model assuming it would work as well as the first and it didn’t. That is why I was stuck with buying referred units.
I’m playing it safe and keeping to the one I know works. I just ordered 4 more.2020/01/10 at 5:20 am #88662 -
