That is an interesting idea, using a usb mixer. The Aviom unit is the AN16i. I’ve thought about a mic splitter before the mixer but would like to be able to send processed signal to the Aviom though that wouldn’t be absolutely necessary. The aux outs wouldn’t be needed for anything else so if the QU routing is flexible enough I could make use them.
So my question still is can the QU inputs be routed to individual outputs directly?
Thanks for the responses. I was thinking that it wouldn’t work digitally great as that would be. I’m thinking of routing the analog outs to an Aviom device as direct outs from individual channels. I have an SQ5 and know that it can be done there. It wasn’t clear to me after reading the QU manual this it could be done on a QU.
OptTronic is one that I would buy.
Hi Keith
Yes that does explain it. My small system is mostly closed with 2 mains speaker choices with the same subs. I will have the same setup where ever I go. The venue will be my only variable so I am looking to simplify my setup as much as possible. I would love to see an option for making the mains send to a matrix pre or post eq, though I understand my use may be far too specialized to be worth the resources. For the time being it looks like I can accomplish what I need by using 2 matrices. Thanks to you and Allen and Heath for the latest update. It’s great!
This sounds amazing. It’s my wish list. The surprise for me was 32 channels of 48k recording with USB…no computer! Looking forward.
Anyone know if the new filters are on auxs? I would love to be able make a crossover!
Wonderful!
This is one place where I think the SQ is flawed. My old Presonus board allowed pre or post fader metering with the push of one, clearly labeled and lit up, button. We can’t be without pre-fader metering but post-fader metering is still very useful. I would love to see this with a flashing softkey option that could let us know we are in post-fader mode.
I see that Mixing Station for SQ is available on IOS now. I just purchased it!
+1
I tried it out with my android phone. The screen is too small to be practical for me but it looks like the potential is there. Looking forward to an ipad version.
I just tried to install. Is it Android only? I have an ipad.
Awesome!
Thanks for the response from me too. I would love to see this feature.
That looks pretty cool. I will always need a table or a stack of other cases.
