Normal. Because recorders use dBFS scale, that stops at 0, but dLive and SQ are in dBu. And on these desks 0dBu happen to be at -18 dBFS. So you have 18 dB of headroom.

If by network port you mean the one in Dante or Waves card, then yes you can record from it. Not from built-in network port that is used for control data only.

SQ has only one expansion slot, so to get your ME-1 working you’ll need an sLink card into your broadcast desk and connect it there. Or change your DX to AR/AB boxes. SLink runs either at 48 or 96, but not both at once.

I will test that, but it could be the DCA level/mute is not affecting DO as individual channel level/mute. I have no idea why it is that way, but iLive never got it right. I thought dLive had it done proper way.

There is a little icon on the left in patch window it can show either Qu-Drive or USB-B. Surprise, that icon is a button! Took me a while to figure and user manual was involved.

Yes, BomeBox will work, I use simular setup with dLive now. Not sure if Midi commands table is published for SQ yet, but in theory it should work. I can give it a try tomorrow in workshop.
2 x AR2412 is not supported, because in 48k mode legacy protocol is used, that is 40ch max, so AR2412 + AB168 should work. Again- I can test that for you.
