Yea this USB nonsense has really pissed me off. I feel like I had all of this money spent for no reason. It doesn’t even do what I bought it for that well which is…recording.
Also I’m noticing that A&H employees are on like every other page of this forum answering questions but give no advice or help here.
I’d LOVE to see the team MAKE MY BOARD ACTUALLY WORK before they go releasing more shit. Like How am I supposed to work with the new DAW software if I CANT RECORD STUFF TO MY DAW PROPERLY!?!?

Ohh okok I will disable it completely. That makes sense, thank you.
Im running a MacBook Pro 2020 and I had AdBlock Pro enabled. But when im in the recording session I don’t have any other programs running or on in th background. Just my DAW, The A&H DAW controller app and the application to play the music for the mics to pick up.
Im gonna give that a try and have a look on a Logic forum for some buffer info.
The only buffer options I see in my preferences are “I/O Buffer Size” the option are a range of sample numbers from 32 to 1024 and “Process Buffer Range” Options range from small to large.
And If I could I just want to ask wha you mean by “call home” I apologize I’m not sure what you mean by that.
Thank you so much again for your input. At the very least I’m going to be able to get a 48kHz recording in tomorrow. I went in tonight and tried out a recording 4 songs long at 48k and all of the tracks came out clean.
2020/10/03 at 11:33 pm #95434Hey @volunteer,
Im working on a brand new MacBook (weeks old) so there’s literally nothing else other then an antivirus. Ill give the scan a try.
Can you explain how buffer issue can be an issue? Do I want it higher or lower its currently at 128 samples
Took a dinner break to think things over UPDATE: Ive found that switching over to 48kHz has fixed my “Issue 1” from my previous post. Ive just listened to 4 consecutive songs without that “skip”/”stall” I mentioned.
Gonna play some music for the mics to pickup, and going to attempt a long duration recording now to see if the tracks are clean too.
Not sure why I’m having the 96kHz issue though. Could it be because I have 48kHz stage boxes attached? Just thinking of that now.
Thank you for your thoughts!
2020/10/03 at 9:12 pm #95430Hey Steffen,
I did see this but I don’t think its the same as my issue. The audio issue I’m facing isn’t a distortion of the sound recording its actually a stutter or skip in the actual recording. Sounds more like there is a piece missing.
eg: if the sentence recorded was “We went to the park” the recording sounds like “we wen-ark” and its happening randomly all around the recording.
Is there a specific page of this link that will assist me further? its like 17 pages long. I can see you have had a lot of input on the page, so if you know what I can do give me a shout.
Sorry this didn’t really help.
2020/01/22 at 8:29 pm #88971Not sure if what you want is possible rn.
BUT
Just shift all of your layers down one and put the simple 2ch layer as “A”. That way a less experienced person could turn on the board and use it without issue.
Cheers!
2020/01/22 at 8:12 pm #88969Thanks!
And my bad, I must have looked right at this.

2018/04/07 at 10:52 pm #70202I think Go is smart.
I use my SQ mainly for theatre. I also run both sound and light at the same time during performances, so doing a number of board actions is near impossible. I use scene next and previous on soft keys and save my show in. order scene for scene. I also have Scene Recall Go on a soft key. This way, when the stage manager gives me a stand by I can hit the scene next soft key. And when the stage manager says “Go” I can then be in the correct state of sound.
Seems pretty clear to me.
2018/04/07 at 9:51 pm #70201Just came across this issue and I support there mono matrix option.
2018/02/23 at 11:06 pm #69155I am also extremely interested in the timeline on the offline editor. Being a one man operation where I work, I need a way to setup my desk for a show (or a number of shows) from home without having to take the desk home with me. I want to be able to walk into the space and just worry about getting the band setup and the sound the way they like it.
