Thanks Nicola – it makes sense but why have access to the FoH on the app at all? – it seems to make the My Mix layer almost useless unless you split a bunch of channels and you can only put the aux on this channel. How do I split channels? having one input feed two channels independently.
2014/01/05 at 5:09 pm #37100Thanks Chris I realize that it is a totally different method and the ipads are just an interface to their Aux mix on the board. The whole reason for using one mix is that they are only supposed to control sends to the assigned aux and have no ipact on the FOH at all. They aren’t logged in as admin but I need to take a closer look at the permissions I have set up on the log in for monitors that may be an issue there Thanks BWC
2014/01/04 at 4:36 pm #37092On other in ear monitor mixers I have used including the avioms the mute only muted the send of that particular channel to the specific device. They didn’t have direct control over the board and maybe this is where the GLD is the problem. When you eq it also on the onemix app it controls the eq on the FOH as well
2014/01/04 at 8:09 am #37086That’s what I was thinking if it is designed as an IEM personal mixer there shouldn’t be a way for a musician to mute a channel on the mains only on there specific aux. If each person muted a different channel pretty soon there wouldn’t be anything left to mix. I’ll have to experiment more tomorrow with other ipads on different aux’s and see if they all do it. It might be an oversight on my part but it seems like a pretty major issue.
2014/01/02 at 6:37 am #37042Found it the little file button wasn’t showing up for some reason- I closed and opened it again and it was there so was able to point the editor to the USB
2014/01/02 at 6:25 am #37041Thanks – that is one of the problems I can’t find anywhere to grab files from
2014/01/02 at 4:21 am #37039New to using the editor is there a way to bring in saved shows from the gld and edit them and bring them back- I have saved the shows to a usb but the editor says no usb attatched?

2013/05/02 at 5:13 am #33875Instead of using DCA’s you could just gang the mutes for the women and do the same for the men – that way it is still only one button push to mute the women or men. You don’t have to have a DCA on a strip somewhere to mute – or use one of the assignable buttons.

– I knew I could do it using a DCA but was wondering of I could gang them like input channels – I’m still trying to wrap my head around the Matrix sends. There were two matrix sends in the template I started with but if I remove a channel from the matrix it also disapears out of my main mix eeven though it is still routed there.2012/05/11 at 3:17 pm #30562Thanks Carey, yes all the documentation with the card is for the ilive and I couldn’t find any routing info simialr to what is show on the ilive on the GLD.
