Prices include PayPal fees. But does not include freight. All components are 100% functional. The A&H units are in great cosmetic shape and the road cases are solid but do have some signs of use.

Both surfaces were recently sent back for a new frame because of a cosmetic defect. They now have the new generation frame. They were serviced by A&H (AM&S) and are like new. Both surfaces come with dust covers.

I have several iLives and not looking to dump them, nor am I looking for free upgrades (heck I paid $100 for an iPad app). However there is one key feature I would still love to see them add… fader spill. It is a little frustrating that the flagship series it not getting any attention anymore when so many users are requesting features. One of the bonuses of digital mixers is so much can be changed with firmware. Firmware/software upgrades are done all the time by manufacturers and even on old boards. I just wish A&H would develop a spill option and I suspect my iLives would stay on the road. Unless there is a nice upgrade offer via trade, I do not see myself investing in another iLive system. Too bad as I personally like them, but certainly there are other features on other boards that would improve iLive.

If you wish to process the audio, groups is your answer. DCA (or VCA in analog world) is really just a remote control to the assigned channels – no real audio passes though them.

I hope this will lead in to better FX processing on iPad. The iPad apps are nice but A&H apps are missing a lot of functionality when it comes to remote control of FX. Fingers crossed.

Not likely… I am disappointed with the lack of feedback from A&H on this product. Kinda feels like Apple making the shift to consumer products.

Any word from A&H about an upgrade for this? If I install v6 it works on Yosemite, of course other things have issues and Yosemite gives me an error that it is outdated. So still waiting to upgrade Yosemite on production machines until this is resolved.

But iLive R&D has been so sparse, I was curious if anyone has heard if Yosemite patch is coming or not.

I would do like Nicola suggested as long as you have the busses… set up 8 (or however many you need) stereo groups (or mono if a mono effects return)…

Then assign a physical input to ext. input to the stereo group.
