This is still an issue with v1.2

+1 In addition, when updating/saving a scene, it should show the actual scene name, not just the number.

+1 The 42 busses do run out very quickly.

+1 I would like the name to recall. And the dPack inserts (dyn8, de-Esser, etc). Those are part of the channel.

I sometimes don’t want the auxes to recall (though sometimes I do), maybe some of these things could be set as a “filter” that chooses whether or not to recall it, just like the preamp currently is. And then by default have everything set to recall (having to toggle on the preamp setting every time I turn on the console drives me crazy!).

+1 I would love to be able to control the HPF/LPF from the EQ screen. Yes, I understand they are at a different place in the signal path, but it certainly slows things down having to switch back and forth.

Agreed, I would love the option of “Context Aware” knobs.

Similar question – will it work with Avantis? Is this something in the works?

Agreed – Just today I noticed that the Director app shows 1/10’s of dB on the gain when adjusting it there (which is nice to do on the touchscreen). I was surprised that the gain was at 10.8dB, since the console says 10dB (rounding to whole numebers). It’s generally not a big deal, but I have found myself with trim/gain/compressor settings etc being frustrated that I can’t get to an exact 0dB or some other exact point, and then it turns out that using an ipad you can get it there (or at least closer)!

Agreed. This would be helpful. Similarly, when saving the scene (at least from a soft key), it flashes the number across the top, but not the name. Just seeing the correct name would give me some peace of mind.

Agreed, the EQ controls is a “slow down” point on this console, which I don’t love. I am starting to get used to the horizontal eq, but I really wish that the frequency was directly next to the gain knob for each band (instead of having the q in between); even this small change would make it easier and faster to use.

Thanks for pointing out that there is a Feature Request forum – I noticed it after posting this. I’ll copy this over to that location.

Clock & Current Scene! Yes please!

Or as suggested – configurable, choosing 1-2 options out of a list on what to display.

Agreed! I also come from Digico and was quite disappointed when setting up and using soft keys (on Avantis). Not only do I really miss stacked functions on one button, but I also miss the wide array of choices that I would expect to find but didn’t. I get that maybe stacking functions is not a simple change to make, but there could be a lot more options of what to add to softkeys…
