I’ll suggest tie lines, so that way they’re getting the pre-amp solid without any additional processing The only issue you’ll have to deal with it when the adjust the gain on the DLive end, as that has the pre-amp control, that would be reflected at monitor.
2017/06/29 at 2:27 pm #64073I realized the pics were not uploaded with the initial post…here’s one of the pics.

2017/03/07 at 1:37 am #61882Whoa! That’s a bummer. I guess I’ll request for that feature. That’s an important feature to have…

2017/03/06 at 2:33 am #61833I’ll try that tomorrow when I’m back on site. I currently have my keyboard connected to the usb port on the back. I’ll connect the mouse to the USB data port and see if that works.
Ideally, it would nice to have an extra port for the USB mouse so in case I need to transfer datas during a show, one is having to unplug things out of the usb ports. Thanks for the tip though. Will try that tomorrow and see how it works for me.
2017/03/06 at 2:31 am #61832Where is your mouse connected to, if you don’t mind me asking?
Thanks.2017/03/06 at 2:30 am #61831Yes I’m running using both channels for both FOH & Monitor. I have the bands on IEM, via the ME-1, which works greats since the DCA only affectss the items I’m sending to them via aux. Anything direct I’m sending isn’t affected. Ideally, I’ll like to adjust my FOH using my DCAs and not worry about it affecting the wedges on stages, which is mostly for the Pastor and Singers.
That why I can focus on a few faders & section that having to go to my 60 or channels.2017/01/18 at 4:00 pm #60682Firmware V1.4 (out at NAMM
2017/01/02 at 10:45 pm #60263In terms of anything additional, you’ll need to create a Waves account, download Soundgrid Studio. Set-up was a breeze for me. I initially had the Dante card but switched out with the Waves3 card, purely for more channel counts, if and when I do need it. If you’re sticking to 64 inputs or less, with the Waves3 card, Soundgrid DSP server, multirack soundgrid software, and any DAW you could literally run your plugins on one computer and record on another.
That was also another reason I got the card. I’m personally on big on using plug ins while mixing live, which is why I love the D-Live coz everything I’ll need, it’s literally got it. But I got the waves3 card for that option that someone does rent the church and they wanted to run their plugins in conjunction with the console.
Hope this helps!
2017/01/02 at 4:13 am #60222Look into the Waves3 card. https://www.allen-heath.com/ahproducts/waves3/
It’s the same point as the Dante card, 128 inputs, connect via Cat5 or 6. Easy set-up and you can record either at 48kHz or 96kHz.Great card.
2016/12/10 at 5:57 am #59812I pointed Director to the USB drive but Director doesn’t see any of the show files. But when I get back on site on a surface, it sees the show files. And I’m using a usb that was formatted on the surface to make sure it’s compatible.
Is there something I am missing?
2016/12/09 at 12:05 am #59788Hey Nicola,
Do you think it would be fixed at some point? it would be nice to see the exact time of recording when recording shows? Especially when I might be recording multiple sets during a show.
Thanks.
Love the D-Live console and just the ease of use and obviously the sound quality.
