Thank you both for the fast responses. Wondering if the sync issues wouldn’t be a problem so long as it’s all 96khz gear. Being the same setup but with dx box and sq consoles… would be very cool if this in turn became a fully supported way of doing FOH and monitor desk splits

2018/04/02 at 11:44 pm #70050BrandonParticipantOh yeah definitely. Every time lol
2018/03/19 at 10:52 pm #69762BrandonParticipant100% AGREE!!!!!!! EXPANDER PLEASE!!
2018/03/19 at 10:49 pm #69761BrandonParticipantI like the graphics on everything! but I wish all outputs had a 6 band parametric as the m32 does!
2018/03/19 at 10:42 pm #69760BrandonParticipant100% agree… especially when doing mono setup and multiple delays, having un summed signals gives greater output and also would give you 6 matrixes instead of 3! competitive to the x/m 32.
2018/03/19 at 10:38 pm #69759BrandonParticipantonce you hit apply, you can select any channel and the label menu stays open to label any channel or buss selected…you can go right down the channels and not have to ever leave the label screen.
2018/03/19 at 10:32 pm #69758BrandonParticipantJUST BECAUSE ITS A MacBook Pro DOESNT MEAN IT HAS AN SSD. mine is 2013 pro and does not have an ssd. check your system info in the “about this Mac” in the apple drop down menu.
2018/03/19 at 10:20 pm #69757BrandonParticipantYou already have 4 band parametric on every output and graphics… why would I want my front of house channel eq affecting my wedges?? And yes the presonus was post hpf gate and comp. pre eq. The way every console is. In fact unless you didn’t mod the consoles… near every single anaolog console had the insert point before the eq giving you the same feature. My wedges are set for the night with output eqs, last thing I want is for them to change while I’m mixing FOH! So having guitars, keys, bass and so on compressed is absolutely essential. Unless you soft patch all of your channels and run your mixes post, then this isn’t possible which is a huge down side.
2018/03/14 at 2:24 pm #69589BrandonParticipantAlong with that I don’t want my chance eq affect my wedges either. Just hpf gate and compressor. And preamp of course. My presonus did this out of the box.
2018/03/04 at 8:51 pm #69342BrandonParticipantI also have been using the Samsung tablet with no issues, however… recently tried the app on an iPad and within 3 minutes of connecting sq5 completely locked up as described above. When I went to the iPad and exited the app the console come back online. Slightly nerve wracking considering it happened minutes before show time.
2018/02/05 at 2:06 am #68688BrandonParticipantAs default yes. But when everything is set pre, you can go to compressor and press “pre” to change where it is in the signal path, as I had already stated.
2018/02/04 at 7:04 am #68663BrandonParticipantGo to the group you want to send to aux. press select on that group and Hit routing. From there you can press on the sends on the touch screen and turn the send levels up as needed in each mix
