2018/06/09 at 11:16 am #71656i tried it couple of times, but it only mounts to mixrack.(1.7 ver.)
setting stay the same.
i tested it with empty show too (FOH show default)2018/06/09 at 9:10 am #71653I want to ask if there is some other way of setting functions to channels on ip8.
There is already v 1.7 and from the start its pain to set.
Link to show what i mean https://streamable.com/rj4cnWith every change of function, the channel number resets and channel type too.
To set back the channel number with mouse or touch screen isnt user friendly.
If you need to set around 50 channels, it takes a lot of time.It doesnt take that much time to fix it for programmers.
2018/03/20 at 6:45 pm #69775I use only one switch Aruba 2930 on FOH ( near DM32 bridge dante card to network1 and AP Aruba305 to network2 for wifi and redundancy).
When i connect IP8 to port POE (default), IP8 said its under powered. When i set port to 30W – answer was same. When i set to 35W, IP8 start, work fine (from statistics: Pwr reserved 30W, Pwr Draw 4,1W, Priority High).
I Use for FOH 1xCAT5e from DM32 to switch with 2x IP8 and 6x dante devices.

You can do it easier – with bridging network

2017/09/10 at 12:13 pm #65192In 1.52,
when you move I/O grid with mouse pointer, window will always refresh to position 0.0I use finger to move on grid with touchscreen.
Patching is then OK with mouse or finger.

Do you have any trick to set IP 8 in director sel or mix, etc.
For example :
When i choose channel 28 and change function from pafl to sel, it will automatically reset the channel to 1 and change input to DCA.
Then i have hard to change on touchscreen/mouse channel 1 to channel 28. When i change DCA back to input, channel will again reset to 1.Is there any other way to change only function pafl to sel or mix without hard problematic settings step by step?
2017/08/29 at 12:31 pm #65053Hello
On audinate website https://www.audinate.com/products/manufacturer-products/dante-brooklyn-ii
There is information that brooklyn 2 chip have :
Sample Rates : 44.1 / 48/88.2 / 96 / 176.4 / 192kHzAudio Channels In/Out (44.1/48kHz) Up to 64×64 channels
Audio Channels In/Out (88.2/96kHz) Up to 32×32 channels
Audio Channels In/Out (176.4/192kHz) Up to 16×16 channelsWhen i set 32×32 channel on PC in DVS and in Controller on device AH card 96khz and i wasnt able to do patching in Controller- Virtual Direct I/O.
Mixrack is set on 96khz internal.
It is possible only when device is set on 48khz.It is possible for AH Dante card to work on 96khz – 32×32 channel that is for chip enabled?
2017/08/21 at 5:51 pm #64910I have provisionally solution – with the mouse roll wheel only zoom in/out (not click and drag), with the finger moving screen for position and then double tap with finger on screen or click with mouse to patch/unpatch.
