    Hi Jacek,

    Happy New Year.

    To answer your questions:

    > Scene Preview Mode
    > “Surface Offline” mode

    We started working on these some time ago but they have been parked for the time being. It is something we will be looking at again however.

    > Solo In Place

    Watch this space.

    > Channel Organisation Features

    As far as “moving” channels (i.e. not input processing channels) is concerned, the system architecture does not allow for this.

    The copying and pasting of multiple channels, and/or multi channel libraries, is something I can add to the feature request list though.

    > “An important question that comes to my mind: It is known Allen & Heath and DiGiCo are currently under the same parent company.
    > Could the missing features be a part of the strategy that doesn’t let dLive cannibalise DiGiCo SD market?”

    No, this isn’t the case.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    @netracer24

    We’ve not heard any other reports of disconnects after 8 hours so it would be great if you could contact us at support@allen-heath.com with some details of your setup so we can investigate further.

    And yes, it is possible to link one Shure receiver to more than one dLive system at once 🙂

    Hi Jonathan,

    The “fader tremble” is something I’ve seen before if a Fader PCB has been replaced and a firmware update has not been performed after the PCB replacement.

    If you haven’t already, please download and install the newest firmware from our site (even if the latest version is currently on the console)

    Does that solve the issue?

    Hi Wolfgang,

    Any chance you could send over a show file with the IP simulation in this state plus some details on the computer(s) that you have experienced this on so we can take a look?

    Hi Ray,
    I think it’s probably best if you could send over your show file and logs to support@allen-heath.com so we can look into this properly for you!
    Cheers,
    Ben

    Hi Steve,

    I’ve moved this out of the Feature Request forum and into Troubleshooting.

    Microsoft Surfaces will lose network connectivity when they go into Sleep mode (many many discussion threads on this on IT forums) so, as Wolfgang suggests, the best option would be to prevent the Surface going into Sleep mode – you can find these settings in the Power Options area of Control Panel.

    @jay2imagineit-net The Surface(s) do not connect to the receiver(s). Connections to the receiver(s) are made by the MixRack and also any Director sessions. As Director connects to the receiver(s) this means you will be able to configure RF devices when offline (i.e. not connected to a MixRack)

    @wolfgang See you there! 🙂

    Hi all,

    We will be monitoring demand for different brand and product ranges re: RF integration.

    The final contents of 1.70 are not confirmed as we are still in the development and test phase.

    However, as mentioned in the Shure Press Release, we will have a beta version of 1.70 on the stand at Prolight + Sound so if any of you are there come and have a look – I should stress that features can be added and removed even at the beta stage so the beta firmware at PL+S will not necessarily be identical in terms of features to the final release.

    I expect I will be able to give some more concrete information later in the month once PL+S is out of the way and we are all back in the office! 😉

    Hi all,

    We’re constantly working on new features and improvements to the existing featureset.

    I don’t know if you have seen this post on our Social Media from earlier this afternoon:

    So there is 1.7 on the way but I can’t give a solid release date quite yet but watch this space.

    BTW we have separate development teams for SQ and dLive!

    @kevanl13

    An M-DANTE in the Surface will have access to all system inputs and outputs.

    Hope that helps,
    Ben

    Hi everyone,

    The 1.60 in the version.txt is nothing to worry about – different parts of the firmware have different version numbers so it is quite normal to see different version numbers (Help File is also 1.60 for instance)

    And regarding the iOS app, the existing app will work fine with the 1.61 release.

    Hope that helps!

    @heathmoore

    Could you PM me with the ticket reference numbers so we can look into this for you as there is no correspondence history associated with your email address in our system other than the 2010 iLive gain tracking query mentioned previously. If you used a different email address to the one you use in this forum let me know.

    Although we do monitor the forums they are not the best platform for support queries – we would always recommend contacting us via email support@allen-heath.com or via the support interface here: https://support.allen-heath.com/ as this always yields the quickest results and will ensure the appropriate member of the support team is dealing with your enquiry.
