    Keith thanks for your input! Would it be possible to use the DX ports as a split for the future?

    I managed to find a workaround for my setup – have a look at the photo.
    I have the network port connected to the control network port in the Dante card – than I plug my Director “console” to the primary port and I can plug the SQ to the secondary port (of course the dante card is in switched mode).
    Than using IP Direct Outs or Tie Lines patched to the Dante Card I can get 64 signals at FOH for recording and for the SQ as a monitor desk!
    And the best part is that Director works simultaneously with Dante on one Cat5e cable 😉
    I’m loving it! I hope this will help somebody else!

    Ok so I have a setup with a CDM32 MixRack and a custom touchscreen surface using Director. Our monitor engineer wants to buy an SQ5. I have a Dante card fitted into my rack so I have no option to fit a GigaAce card. Is there really no option to use any of the ports in the CDM to have a digital split with easy one Cat5 cable setup – GigaAce, DX or even ME?? This would be so convenient. Is A&H somehow blocking this? The Slink port works with any DX or ME so it should work with the ports in the dLive rack

    +1 on that! Bookmarks would be great for soft keys! I would use it on the LR GEQ as well as the monitors GEQ.

    @RS
    Thanks I was also thinking about the IP8’s but the cost of two IP8’s is more or less the same cost as the two touchscreens, the computer and the case altogether. That’s why I will go with the touchscreen for now. And the fader in IP8 is 60 mm – is this an inconvenience? I haven’t put my hands on the IP8 yet. Tell me what you think!

    @1: yeah I’d wish someone from A&H could comment on that.

    @2: I also used Mac before, I think it’s the Win10 limitation. Maybe there is an add-on app that hides the top bar?

    @3: Nice thing this “nob control”! Quite expensive but nice. Yeah I’d wish the app had the surface mode that when you click on a parameter it keeps itself selected and than you can turn it with the knob on the console. The same thing could be on the Director – you click something and you fine tune it event with the scroll in the mouse – what do you think about that?

    @jens-droessler

    Totally agreed with that! I think the resize button is there for the one screen operation – you can still adjust the size of the console window in this situation which is kind of nice. But in the windowed mode the console window should just be resizable like any window. That’s a good point.
    A&H please give us a fullscreen option for both windows! 🙂

    It’s a 24″ Dell PT2418HT monitor but it doesn’t look that big thanks to the narrow frame 🙂 and the 10 point touch is great it calibrates by itself every time you turn it on. And it’s matte not glossy so reflection free
