Turns out, our 3 month old cable stopped working. We are ordering a new cable.

We are sending our main lr audio from our mixer to a pc for Facebook live using a usb-b to usb cable. It works but the audio is super quiet. Setup > I/O stream > usb audio, 17/18 qu drive stereo using l+r pre. The audio in the room through the lr speakers is plenty loud. Even up too loud the Facebook audio is too quiet. Anyone know how to turn up the usb-b volume? Thanks

I tried posting pics but this forum says anything over 1mb is too large. Cropped as small as I can make them, my pics are still too big. I could email them to someone.

Thank you for this. Do you know how to get the usb-b to usb on my windows computer to work? I went to setup > I/O path, the 17/18 in the qu-drive stereo box are set to LR L and R. I installed the qu driver and see it on the computer and can see the qu in Devices. I added that as the device for my audio input in OBS Studio but the sound doesn’t get there. I will attach pics of what I see.

I was able to talk to Sweetwater tech support and fixed it a few minutes ago. Somehow, plugging in a usb-b cable to get sound to our computer for streaming deselected channel 18 from the main LR.

I don’t know what DCA or Audio Groups are, so I’m glad I don’t have to go check those. 🙂

The soft keys are saving now. Thank you so much! Unfortunately, I somehow made it so only some channels come out of the main lr now. I am so not good at this!!

I haven’t been able to get that working yet. I’ve had to be away for most of the last 4 days due to a family emergency. I’ll try it again when I get back home Tuesday. Thank you for checking.

I have saved the scenes. When I set a soft key to recall the scene and select the desired scene number it works once or twice but eventually defaults back to whatever the default setting for the soft key was. I tried recalling the scene, setting the soft key and then saving the scene like that but it didn’t work.

We don’t have an iPad to use with it.

I was able to get sound out of both the speakers and monitors, and also control the cd voice tracks. Thank you so much! Now if I can just get scenes to save in soft keys we will be about finished with the setup.

It’s nice here. Today high was 79, low will be 45. Unfortunately, we are a very small church and don’t have budget to fly someone in. 🙂

Oh that might explain a lot. So I can set the mixes, switch back to LR and set the rest, then save it as a scene?

Yes, we use split track cds. The old mixer somehow worked with just one cable so I’ll have to get a new cable. We haven’t been able to find anyone near us that can help us. How do I get the mix and main to work at the same time? When I press the LR button the mix doesn’t work. When I press the mix button the LR doesn’t work. Thank you.
