It’s about time this was fixed. It’s been talked about so many times. Please, please give it some consideration.

+1 I have been asking for this for ages. We are a church and don’t own the ipads – some operators and band members use their own ipads, others don’t have them. I had to send an urgent email to everyone in the teams this weekend to warn them to turn off auto-updates as I have no chance to upgrade the firmware before then. We got no prior notice of this update (at least, I didn’t see it if there was). It’s really frustrating.

Will the One-Mix app become incompatible with version 1.52 firmware once it auto-updates? We cannot (and don’t want to) upgrade the firmware immediately on release and our band members run One-Mix on personal iPads. It hampers us pretty badly when they suddenly find they cannot use One-Mix. They are understandably unwilling to turn off auto-update just to accommodate one app.

Thanks @cedomain. I did not know that!

It would still be very useful to be able to copy the pre/post settings of one AUX to another as they aren’t typically all on or all off.

@tor: but what @mumu is asking for is that copying the mix settings of an AUX should also copy the pre/post settings. It’s time-consuming setting up a new AUX because the pre/post settings for every channel need to be checked.

I agree! I asked for this a year ago. Inputs, too.

Bigsounds – that’s true, but misses the point. I’m suggesting that A&H release separate apps to the App Store, so there would be an app called “dLive OneMix 1.3” and another app call “dLive OneMix 1.4”. Minor updates wouldn’t need a new app – only those that create compatibility issues.

Thanks very much, Scott, that’s working now. The key thing I didn’t think of is that the MixRack headphone socket is always PAFL bus 1, whereas the Surface socket follows whichever PAFL bus the Surface is assigned – sounds obvious now, and I’ve just spotted it in the Firmware Reference.

The monitor engineer uses the PAFL output on the Mixrack.

Thanks, Scott. How do you assign a PAFL bus to the PAFL output on the Mixrack? I can’t find an option anywhere. The PAFL outputs on the Surface and Mixrack always have the same output for me.

This option of directing Director’s PAFL output to the Mixrack PAFL socket was also mentioned in the webinar this morning.

Rather disappointed yesterday to find that I couldn’t find version 1.20 of Director on the website. I wasn’t in a position to upgrade the dLive firmware to 1.21 as it was currently in use, so I couldn’t download Director software to match the firmware version.

Now there are two elements (firmware and Director) whose versions must match, do you think you should make all versions available for download, not just the latest?

Either use the Graphic Equaliser available on each mix, or set the LF band of the PEQ to a low-cut filter.

You can already put a delay on a scene. Take a look at Embedded Scenes, where you can have one scene load another (or a series of others) after a delay.

I agree. DCA muting scares me in a live situation because there’s no way to quickly unmute a single channel in a panic situation other than by finding the DCA that muted it.

A “mute group” would simply turn on/off the channel mute of each channel assigned to it.

    Thanks
