No.
2018/12/07 at 7:29 pm #80657According to my inventory reports that I receive daily, they will not be in stock in the US until January.

2018/12/03 at 9:04 pm #80527No. The processing is done in the mixrack, not the console. The console is simply a control surface.
2018/11/22 at 7:17 pm #80269I like using a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with dLive Director. In fact, I like it so much, that I recently decided to purchase a 15″ Microsoft Surface Book 2 to give me an even better experience (as the screen is detachable from the keyboard). And indeed, I like it much more!
I agree with the comments about the battery life. So I always use mine connected to a power source and since using the Surface Book 2, I’ve used that connected, as well, because of the issues with the Surface Pro. However, The Surface Book 2 does have a much larger battery and might be able to last an entire gig. And with the keyboard attached and the screen reversed, it will run on 2 batteries. But I prefer the light weight of the screen alone.

2018/11/06 at 4:39 pm #79835Nicola,
Now that the SQ MixPad App requires IOS 12 or above, should we expect the same with the dLive MixPad app as well with the next major firmware release? Is there going to be an Android version of the app?
Thanks.

2018/11/05 at 2:52 pm #79789I am looking for a live mixer for our band
I am a bit confused on what mixer to take for that.
Is it better to use a GLD for that purpose or would SQ be a better choice? It depends on your needs and your budget. If you can give more specifics about your band, number of inputs needed, who is going to run the mixer, etc, we can give a better answer.
2018/11/02 at 8:29 pm #79724I think you’d find latency to be too high in a native environment. However, you can try it. You can download Multirack Native and demo it free for 1 week.
2018/11/01 at 3:02 pm #79689No. It needs a separate card (been there, tried that).
2018/11/01 at 2:51 pm #79687The desk still runs at 96kHz, even though the input from the AR’s is 48kHz. So the effects would still be at 96kHz.
As for sound, I can’t comment on that as I use the DX boxes both for my SQ and my dLive.

2018/10/25 at 10:26 am #79531Anytime I’ve had issues like this, it’s been 1 of 2 things (other than clock, of course). Either a bad cable or an unsupported OS. I use only shielded Cat6 cables now and on my MacBook Pro, Sierra OS as High Sierra is not supported on Soundgrid Studio. I’m not sure if you’re recording to a PC or a Mac, though.
2018/10/20 at 2:37 pm #79418I”m really struggling getting my SQ6 and Studio One DAW talking. This bit of Keith’s description really threw me…where is that actually configured? I’m trying to add the SQ6 by ‘Adding Control Surface’ in Studio One
Do you have the Allen & Heath DAW control software running on your Mac or PC yet? If not, you need to do that. If so, make sure that it is working following the instructions on how to test it.
2018/10/13 at 1:19 pm #79227Thanks for the heads up!
2018/10/11 at 9:20 pm #79154i do not want to complain, but I expected a bit more for the new Version 1.3. We all waited so long and the result is mediocre.
I’ve been waiting since November 2016 for Waves to upgrade their LV1 system. I understand that the Soundcraft SI’s are still on Version 1. Waited so long??? You have no idea what waiting is.
Thanks, A&H team for your quick development! It’s still not the perfect mixer. But I’m sure it will get there.
