Hi Jake,
I see in the TCP/IP screenshot that the MIDI Control Driver isn’t connected. When using the USB connection, do you see any activity in the two squares in the corner of the driver? This indicates the data activity in and out of the driver.
The +1 DAW Control channel relates to the MIDI channel strips only. The data sent from these will always be on a separate MIDI Channel to the general mixer parameters.
I think this requires some more investigation to find where the problem is. Please go to support.allen-heath.com to submit a request. It may be helpful to update this thread once the problem is found!
Thanks

1. Is this an iPad processing power issue, or are other iPad users experiencing sluggishness? This may be network related, as the only requirement for both apps is iPadOS 12.1 or later. All iPads supporting this OS should work fine with the app. Freezing and slow behaviour may indicate that the communication between the app and the mixer has an issue.
2022/08/24 at 8:10 am #108675Alex A&HKeymasterHi @BradWalker,
As @Brian mentioned, the Director version needs to match the console. However, the MixPad and OneMix version only needs to match the major version.
For example:
MixPad/OneMix 1.20 will work with Avantis 1.21
MixPad/OneMix 1.10 will not work with Avantis 1.21Thanks!
2022/08/17 at 8:09 am #108558Alex A&HKeymasterHi @Brian,
There’s some conflicting information in your last message.
DT expanders (DT168, DT164-W, DT02, DT20 & DT22) can be connected to a Dante network only. This means the console will need a Dante card to receive the audio signal from these expanders. The SQ-Dante (SQ or AHM) or Dante-64/128 (Avantis or dLive) need to be installed for preamp control. There is also DT Preamp Control software if you don’t have a compatible mixer.
DX expanders (DX-32, DX168, DX164-W & DX012) can be connected to a DX port on a dLive MixRack, Surface or GX4816, a SLink port, or a DX-Hub.

2022/07/21 at 9:14 am #108133Alex A&HKeymasterHi JB33801!
The GEQ RTA in AHM system manager uses the Monitor Point for its metering. This means that you can hover over the different processing blocks of the zone and this will change the signal for the RTA.
The GEQ RTA in AHM isn’t designed for room measurement as it is intended as a reference for the GEQ, so there is no easy way to route a measurement microphone to the GEQ RTA.
There is an RTA under the Assign > Monitoring tab, so you could assign your measurement microphone to an input channel, select the input channel under the Channels tab and then view the RTA. You can then run a new instance of System Manager to view the RTA and Zone GEQ simultaneously.A stereo zone uses stereo processing, so it is not possible to process each side independently and you would need to use mono zones for this.
Thanks!

If the surface is connected to the network already, the MixRack will already access this via gigaACE. Connecting the MixRack network port to it as well creates a loop.
Thanks!

2022/01/03 at 8:38 pm #105203Alex A&HKeymasterHi Adam,
There is no way to connect a ME system to a DX expander.
You would need to use a dSnake or GX expander instead.
You can find the supported configurations here: https://www.allen-heath.com/media/SLinkConnections_V1_5_0.pdf
Thanks!
Alex2022/01/03 at 8:36 pm #105202Alex A&HKeymasterHi Chris,
If the GX and SQ are connected to the Avantis, you would need to route the talkback of the SQ to the Avantis, then route it to the ME system.
If the GX and Avantis are connected to the SQ, you would need to the talkback via the SQ to then route it to the ME’s.
Could you provide some more information on how everything is connected?
Thanks
Alex2021/12/17 at 9:49 am #104937Alex A&HKeymasterHi Dr. Rick,
I have moved this into the SQ Troubleshooting forum for you.
This isn’t something I’ve seen before. Could you start a ticket at support.allen-heath.com so we can have a look?
Thanks!
Alex2021/10/25 at 7:32 am #104182Alex A&HKeymasterHi @zeligonline,
As suggested by @ioTon, this is most likely caused by a hardware issue.
Please contact our distribution partner in your country to arrange a service.
