Because the soft keys change with each scene, I would assume it wouldn’t be possible. At least I haven’t found any other way to swicth scenes other then go into the meune.

Was pretty easy to learn. Dante was relatively simple, make sure u get the dante card for this mixer tho. Scenes are pretty solid and easy to edit. I came from a Yamaha cl5 and this Avantis was better in every aspect.

I do recommend an unmanaged switch. Mine basically never turns off and gives me no issues. As Steffen said maybe an 8 port would be more future proof, but my switch just plugs the dante, mixer, and dt168 in and then runs behind the walls to my other 5 port that connects all that, my internet, a midi over ethernet box, and a 2nd dt168 into my PC. So both of my 5 ports use 4 out of 5 ports and run perfectly.

I use cubase 10 btw. For using it to control the DAW the feature isnt fully integrated but u can still use it, just the names of channels wont pop up on the LCD’s on the avantis. I’m terms of use it took me a couple hours of messing around to get used to it. Its very easy to use once u understand the board. I’ve previously worked on other high end boards and it alwys felt that the placement of settings on them was off. It took awhile to get used to them on those boards. On the avantis all the settings are easy to understand and placed right. It’s almost as if they used common sense to map out the mixer. You can orient the board in any way you want. All the channels and strips are movable, tons of custom buttons, plenty of faders. It’s honestly awesome and perfect for what I do. And about the preamps, they truly do sound great in my opinion.

Yes. So far it’s been great. I have mix’s for the headphones in the recording room, then for my mixing room speakers. I can record any channel I want. The preamps sound awesome. I would totally recommend it. You will have to buy the $1600 dante card and the dante virtual sound card software to connect it to your computer through dante. If you have more specific questions feel free to ask.

As Steffen said a switch as well as a computer running the Dante Controller software.

I use one of these switches and it works great.

Also, consider using the Avantis as a FOH mixer. My Avantis has been wonderful for me. It does have a learning curve but I got that down in a couple of days.
When I use other mixers I really appreciate the “common sense” placement of controls and settings the Avantis has.
The Avantis will not work with dante without an added dante card. I use this one.

You would also need the dante card. The one for the Avantis I bought it on Sweetwater is 1600 bucks.

Are they just regular in ears? You would set it up like any monitor through the aux or if u want stereo the stereo aux. And effects through the regular busses.

Do the slink boxes support dante?

Idk about the stage boxes but with the 48khz 96khz. U cant really upscale 48khz, I think the mixer will run its internals at 96khz and downscale it to 48khz. Btw the 48khz doesnt sound any less quality. The only thing 48 96 Khz matters for is mixing, gain, effects, and volume and I think the internals still run at 96khz not losing the headroom important for mixing. I run 48khz to my DAW but the mixer still runs at 96khz. You may or may not have to buy a card. Do those stage boxes support slink?

Try plugging it into secondary see what happens. The primary ethernet plug could be messed up.

You should post on feature suggestion. They seem to listen and one of the customer support people said delevolopers regularly read them.

What do you mean by route it to multiple FX Engines? Like, send on FX to multiple FX?
