Hi Steffen. Yes I know when when you click on the square the big slider appears for precise selection. I’d love to see the level
Indication inside the square that I’m currently adjusting (for 1-2sec before it goes back to its current visual triangular shape) especially for quick adjustments eg. Several vocals or line levels without having to use the single big slider for each individually

I lost the link to the Qu-Pac. Wifi was still showing full bars in Qu-Pad app.. Somehow it reconnected after 8-10min…
Also I must have to add that my airport express had an older firmware which I’ve recently updated. This might have had something to do with it as well

I had a weird situation with my QU-PAC last week …
Running the latest firmware on both the Qu-Pac and Qu-Pad. (using an airport express router)
My Qu-Pad went offline / lost connection for almost 10minutes and then returned to working stage.

I did not get the chance to manually try to adjust the levels from the QU-PAC as the unit was too far away from reach and I was flat out playing the keyboard/singing to a ROOM full of party people.
Luckily I did not get any feedback on the mic and I could manually adjust the volume level from my keyboard and iPad (tracks)

I suspect it was only a router/networking issue (unfortunately I did not get the chance to see if the physical buttons/controller knob on Qu-Pac were still working during this mishap).

I’ve never had a router issue of this extend and I imagine that there could have been too much wifi in the background of the hotel bar that might have interfered with the Airport Express…

I’ll see at my next gig if this happens again

Just checked the behaviour of QU-PAD after updating my iPadAir1 to IOS10
The Slider behaviour seems to be much faster now and hardly any lag .. .Do you guys experience this too ? 🙂

Maybe have a TOGGLE button in the far top left corner in the Qu-PAD App which quickly changes the current Display settings
(8 Sliders and Top Row LR / EQ / GEQ / COMPRESSOR view) TO a Dedicated 16 CH Slider Display …

When touching the TOGGLE button again, it would quickly flip back to it’s previous display …

This way in the thinned out 16 Sliders width VIEW, the Sliders could possibly be longer to give more delicate adjustments (like the slider in Qu-Control APP)

Also keep the 16 CH+ view to its bare minimum of features (eg. only have MUTE button ontop of SLIDER) as all the other feature and buttons will be available once in its original view …

I could see the 16 CH thinned slider view to be my MAIN DISPLAY 90% of the time when having to adjust CH Volumes in LIVE Band mixing situations and only quickly TOGGLING to previous VIEW to dial in some EQ, Compression changes etc..)

maybe the LED could flash FAST when fading down to infinity and turn OFF once there and
flash SLOW when fading to its original position (e.g.. 0dB in DCA)

This way we could have a visual for the TOGGLE button which way it goes…

OR MAYBE EVEN:

Have 2 rows of 8-12 SLIDERS for a total of 16-24 SLIDERS in example PERFORMANCE MODE …
as soon as you touch one, the current display will kick in (Sliders on bottom and LR / PEQ / GEQ / COMPRESSOR in top region)
When you Touch it again, it would jump back to the 16-24 SLIDERS PERFORMANCE MODE

This way we could have an overall display of up to 24 LIVE SLIDERS for very quick IPAD adjustments

Love the idea to have a fade to infinity levelfor channels . Having a ‘magical button’ that would toggle the current state to infinity and back again to where it was…

I find the level adjustment to be lagging as well sometimes… Works great most of the time but sometimes there is a second or two lag where the sliders don’t move up/down .

But keep the height of the sliders like in current iPad Pro 12.9′

I wished you could touch anywhere on the widget and then slide up/down but you have to touch the triangle volume graphic to enable the swiping … my iPhone screen is small and I wished that i could touch any area of the widget inorder to swipe up/down …

And that distance is while the router sits inside the rack .. (I made it so I can pull it out and sit it ontop – but never needed to to that)

Same here . Im using the Apple Airport Express and never had a drop out issue. I don’t get the range of the Extreme but easily accessible from 50m ..

It will never replace the dedicated EQ but would be handy for dedicated Qu-Control functions e.g.. CD playback/Tracks etc…
