Didn’t know about these MCA’s – what a great thing!!!!
+1 for SQ šA dirty (but not quick) workaround can be via the bome box: https://www.bome.com/news/allen-heath-mixer-support
And take the roundabout way via “MIDI”There you can create rules, eg. If one mix send is changed, change also the mix send of a particular set of channels.
Or use a Midi Fader of the desk to control this set of mix-sends.
But I think this work make only sense if your desk is installed, an channels do not change – because you’ve then also to reprogram this midi-rules…

AND
+1 for vice versa
Select a channel via a midi noteThanks
dd2021/09/21 at 7:28 pm #103586Hi,
Have a look here: https://youtu.be/GxMyrGDmLIE
Or manual page 18, I/O Patching2021/09/21 at 11:17 am #103572+1 for Page Bookmark for SQ !!!
like on dLive 1.9
still good old 01V had the bookmark option – so please hurry up šthanks,
dd2021/09/21 at 6:24 am #103564Hi,
Does anybody know if this behaviour is the same on all of the A&H digital Mixers?
Because in the block diagram of GLD is no hint of this ExtIn Mute. There is only the plus sign (Signal will be added) but NO MUTE!@A&H maybe you guy’s can correct the block diagram here!
thanks a lot,

Attention, you are wrong!
This Polarity swap is ONLY for the Ext-In!NOT for the matrix bus Signal!

Thanks that youāll partially agree in this case š
As i mentioned above, i think when there is data in a scene, which canāt be recalled, this should cause a warning or at least an āinformationā Pop up.
Why should the mixer let the user believe everything is fine?
Do somebody know how is the behaviour when add onās canāt be loaded? In the release notes is written that Audio thru this FX slot (insert) is muted. But does the mixer come up with any warning or information?
Greetings

Select the Group
Goto Routing (Green Switch)
Move the screen all to the right (Mtx are the last sends)Greetings dd

Hi Brian,Thank you both for the gentle subliminal note to read the user manual and thanks for the information that youāll know about my knowledge. š
lovely@brian why should i change mixer config during a show?
When I need to change a aux to a group or vice versa during a show ā then the SQ is the wrong tool for the job.
When I need to change a stereo input to a mono I can use the width! And thatās the reason why I think also busses (aux grp mtx) should become this width option. (See the feature request)But back to Topic, iād like to give an possible example maybe this can clear up a bit:
When creating a new show out of different scenes, or when Iām importing a stored scene in my actual show – why should a user know about the mixer config of every scene? I mean it can be helpful to show a popup like āThe actual mixer config is different from the one you’d like to load!ā.
Because when there is data (levels, processing, names or anythingā¦) of 12 Aux busses stored in the scene, the mixer will recognize that, and to load this scene 12 Aux busses are needed. But if the actual mixer-config is using some groups, the auxes get truncated. So your great information of: āmix config is stored in the show!!!!!!!ā is not the whole truth. When the busses are used, then there is Data in the Scene, and the mixer will recognize the gap.
In my eyes this case should bring up a warning.
I come to this point, yesterday, when playing around with SQ-Mixpad. Load some scenes of past shows I did ā and was wondering why some groups were missing. So yes you are right the fault is sitting in front of the mixer / PC.
So for the next 8 month Iāll study the manuals of every mixer Iām using and also of the rest to be preparedā¦
But to be honest ā you think itās ok to load a scene which is not matching with the actual mixer status without warning?
OK then everything is fine and you can save your time instead of typing here such gentle posts!Have a nice evening…
2021/09/07 at 6:57 pm #103320Hi tourtelot,
The Dante card for SQ Series is doing 96k and 48kHz.
What do you need?
44,1 ?greetings,
dd2021/09/05 at 5:43 pm #103282+1
2021/09/05 at 1:21 pm #103271+1 for soft rotarys on MIDI and on Mixpad also for SQ5!
2021/09/05 at 1:17 pm #103270If you switch the control network bridge ON, the you don’t need to connect the SQ6 ethernet port to that lan.
If the bridge is on, the two ports are internally “connected”! (at least in my case with the Dante card)
So there’s (I think) NO need to double connect the console to one LAN!

It was very important to introduce switch the matrix to Mono compatibility!
as SamZ said, if the point comes to processing power, it wouldn’t be absolute logical to get 3 Stereo OR 6 Mono Matrix mixes. Should cost more or less the same processing power.
(Wich is no really true, especially for DSPs when they are optimised for doing “stereo” multiplications. But I don’t know the behaviour of the FPGA-core.
If this could be realised, that would make me also very very happy, couse my 3 Matrices on the desk are most of the time all used…
And most of the time in Mono.So +1 for increasing the matrix count in Mono Mode!
