Hi, usually my mixer works great in the studio however, now that I’ve started playing live I’ve noticed that occasionally the channel one input will simply stop working mid-set. I do as much trouble shooting as possible and can’t get it to come back on. Seems to be associated with higher volumes, maybe the output not going to headphones, but a PA instead. It’s mysterious too that it doesn’t seem to be associated with the instrument plugged into that input.

Up until the point that it stops working does that channel source sound OK?

Have you taken the cable plugged into the dead channel and plugged it into
another channel? If so what happened?

Do the rest of the channels all keep working fine?

Are you using the XLR or 1/4 inch input?

If you PFL the channel to head phones do you hear anything?
