Hi all, just registered so that I can ask this very specific question, which I’m afraid I already know the answer to!
I bought the Xone:23C specifically for a rare vinyl ripping project. The USB out sends the master output, of course. Would it be possible to alter the USB output so that it outputs directly from one single channel, or whatever is in cue, to reduce the overall noise floor, as suggested in this video?
The individual channel faders and main out stages are of little use for this endeavor and may only introduce more noise (even with everything else set to zero), on my quest for pristine recordings. True, I could have bought a more specific device for this purpose but I wanted the A&H channel strip for personal reasons! And I see that gain, EQ and filter are all present on the cue feed.
