    I”m more curious than anything about it. What is the workflow appeal for this feature?

    It’s an alternative way of thinking with DCAs, it makes it much more obvious why a channel isn’t doing what you expect (because the fader position is actually representative of the level being controlled)

    It is nice to have groups of faders for things like drums, bgv singers, etc. but ganged makes both faders same level. I rarely use ganging as I need to adjust the individual channels. DCA is more ambiguous in that other than channel panel markings it is hard to get a real feel for where you are. Being able to just grab one fader and bring the whole group up or down or select one channel within the group to tweak is more apparent. I have done before and it seems others have also.
