    Chris, I do still think you are misunderstanding the topic at hand to some extend and are now misrepresenting what you wrote in your initial reply. You didn’t answer the question, you just muddied the waters. You are welcome to do that, but I don’t have to entertain it with a detailed reply. Thanks for playing.

    I do believe it is still the same chip that sits now inside dLive

    And yes, it still has that DSP.

    The DSP is virtual in the FPGA.

    The FX sends are there for easy setup capabilities, as @jgrit already pointed out.
    If you enable FX sends, everything is already there, no need for extra configuration.

    The only thing I am misunderstanding is your insistence. You keep insisting that the board is suppose to work the way you think it should. I have agreed with your philosophy. I have only responded with how the system works and backed it up with what the manual says. If you don’t like how the board works, take it up with the engineers.
