    Hi Folks:

I’ve pretty much got my iLive inventory complete. My setup includes:

    -T-112, T-80
-iDR-48, iDR-16 both with ACE cards in Port B
    -xDR-16 with a Waves M2 card in Port B

This spring I’ll be adding a PC DAW and a Waves Server One I’d like to be able to run Waves Plug-ins, record least 48 tracks and play them back for virtual sound-checks, both with a Single Board and FOH/Monitor split setup (see attached diagram). I’d like to keep the DAW and Waves Server at FOH, so I thought having the xDR-16 fed from the Port B ACE card from the Mixrack would allow placement (via a second Cat5 snake) back to the board. I’m a little confused as to how many tracks I’ll be able to play back from the DAW through the xDR-16 to the Mixrack: some literature says 48 tracks while others say 16 tracks. I also want to be able to route the playback tracks back to their respective Inputs on the board. Is what I’m trying to do possible?

    -thanks, Mark

    Hi Steffen:

For sure; not to mention that I also have a couple of Powersoft amps on the Network being controlled with Armonia tunnelled down the FOH snake from the FOH PC. This is really a question for Nicola. Such is the price of going hi-tech!
