    I registered the theater’s SQ7 a week ago (or was it two?). I’ve yet to receive confirmation, or a code for the preamp modeler. Is the usual lead time longer than this?

    There are two options for registration, one here – https://www.allen-heath.com/support/register-product/ – which can be used for any product type.

    For SQ however, where an account would need to be created for the shop site to claim your free Tube Stage Preamp, we point everyone to this page – https://www.allen-heath.com/registersq/ – this is the address on the SQ when new out of the box, the one linked to from all the product pages and anywhere telling you about getting the Tube Stage Preamp.

    This means you don’t have to register and then go and set up an account as two separate steps, setting up the shop account is the registration.
    Once you have set up an account (I had a quick look to see if I could do some of this for you, but couldn’t see an account under your name), all you need to do is ‘purchase’ the correct Tube Stage Preamp for your SQ model (this is priced at $0.00 so no payment is taken).
    When ‘purchased’, go to your downloads section in the shop to enter your serial number and DNA code to then generate your unique Add-on key.
