    Hello all,
Has anyone tried using the Tube Stage effect on a vocal channel with some success? What settings? I am looking for ways to help our vocalists.

    Thanks

Yes we have used it as a way to tame harsh mid range issues with female vocals. The first two settings work best for this using the fine adj. knob to dial to taste. Also combined with the compressors variable detection modes and side chain function we have used the Tube Stage as a way to effectively de ess vocals. Tube Stage to warm up and tame harsh freq, then compressor with detection set to either peak or rms, and the side chain set to compress only the higher frequencies.
