Is it possible to do a virtual soundcheck at home with the mac SQ app?

I am aware that it won’t sound the same as in the venue, but as a beginner, I want to be able to test out things, such as the effect of adjusting EQ on different frequencies, and it would be helpful for me to use a familiar interface.

    Thanks in advance.

Your question is quite confiusing. For a virtual soundcheck you need:
    – some SQ5/6/7
    – a recording
    – a possibility to play the recording
(could be a PC with USB or Dante if you have a Dante card or just a Stick for SQ Drive)

If you then use the Mac SQ app or do the mixing directly on the desk — as you like!

    Best Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks for the response, sorry I’ve confused you.

I operate an SQ5 at a venue regularly, and record to a USB Drive, so I have all the multitrack recordings on hand. I don’t have a console at home, but I’ve got the SQ Mixpad app on my Mac, so I was wondering if there is a way to load up the multitrack recordings on the app, to play and adjust some settings, and then copy the show file to update my settings on the physical console.

I hope that makes a bit more sense?

Yeah… No. The App is a remote Control.
