Hello! I am new to Avantis and Allen & Heath for that matter, and have purchased an Avantis Solo without any add-on cards. I wanted to see if there was a way to virtual sound check without needing to purchase Dante or Waves, e.g. USB? Ethernet network? I came from the M32 line and have been used to a USB-in. Obviously, playing an instrument from a computer to the back of the mixer is a solution but a bit painful.
What are some of your best methods and strategies?
Use Dante or Waves.
Best Regards.
Unfortunately, there is no way to get multitrack recording “sends” directly from the Avantis without using one of the I/O cards and an appropriate recording solution. The USB output on the Avantis will not support multitrack.
Understood! Thank you! Time to buy a dante card.
