    Comes the firmware version v1.8 also to the “normal” qu consoles?

    Yes, because the Chrome Edition is only a redesign of the common Qu-Series.

    My understanding is the new QU Chrome mixers are only cosmetically different (Chrome pots). The v1.8 Chrome update is purely called Chrome as it marks the launch of the Crome coloured QU mixers but the v1.8 firmware is for all QU mixers. Basically, if you changed the black pots on your current QU mixer for the Chrome coloured ones then it would be identical to the new Chrome mixer once you’ve updated the firmware to 1.8 when it is released!?

    I don’t even see a new Firmware update most current is 1.73

    They just announced it. V1.8 is out now with a lot of nice enhancements to both the mixer and the Qu Pad software.
