I’m excited with the new Firmware 1.7!
    But is it stable yet?
Gonna have a show on Saturday with less time for soundcheck.
Is it worth updating before the show or better wait after it?
And what about the saved scenes? Are they still available after a firmware update?
    Ok, I have a backup but …

Firmware doesn’t (according to the release notes) overwrite scenes IIRC, but the notes are published 😉

Is there a feature you *need* in 1.7?

If not then update after, if there is – well you have to update first…

    no, I don’t Need a feature.
    I’m just “hot”
So I better wait. The show is important

    I have 3 show with 3 QU32 starting tonigh! in 8 hours.
It would have been nice a few days ago.
Too risky to drag equipment out and upgrade.
I’m sure it would all be fine however.

I really could have done with the dSnake patching and ducker.
    Thats life.
Now I am excited for after the weekend!
    AFTER the Cricket!

    Thanks A & H

Soft keys now on qu-pad (giving control of qu-drive if desired).
Proper control of all fx on qu pad.
Extra custom layer on qu pad.
Easy naming of mute groups and their assignments on qu pad.
Touchscreen on mixer follows your selection on super strip, very nice improvement.
Lots of other bits and bobs I can’t remember right now.
    Check the release notes!
Never lost synch once, no lockups or weirdness at all.
I’m liking it a lot more than I did. A very impressive update as far as I’m concerned.

Qu24, iPad mini, 8.x, airport express. Not tried yet with ar2412.

I’ve noticed that the qu-pad seems much more responsive now on v1.7.
Previously I occasionally had trouble with the virtual faders. So far v1.7 seems much better.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that?

This all sounds very positive. When a new QU firmware is announced I always wait till I hear 3 or 4 positive reviews before I take the plunge. So far so good.

Spent about an hour on the new update this morning, all good. Also bit the bullet and updated my Ipad to 8.2 with no issues.

1.7! Love it! Great added features… I was shocked to the that many changes to the app… great job A&H!!!!

The only thing I noticed that was giving me a problem was switching the Ducker from FX to Ducker. I was able to switch it but never really figured out the correct way to do it. Tapping on it or sweeping it up or down. It does change but it’s kinda random, I have to keep playing with it! Still love it!!!
