There’s a 1.6 update available for Qu. I’m in the middle of a production, and my 24 is now set up and running smoothly (once I got the scene-recalls sorted out;). Do I dare to update?

I chose not to update at that time and waited till the day after the last show. That way if anything went wrong it would give me plenty of time to correct things. I like to take my time with updates, making sure I re-format my drive each time and watching everything closely. Then I do a dry run at home making sure everything seems to work correctly.
As it happens, my update to v1.6 and my QuPad app update went perfectly as usual and I even took the opportunity to update to iOS 8 while I was at it. I had held off on the iOS update due to some things I had read on a couple of forums relating to problems running QUPad. All is good.2014/11/14 at 7:24 pm #43072StonepianoParticipantThanks guys, I think I’ll postpone the update until my present gig is over. Especially when today, the USB- connection died. For both a key and the hard-drive, both formatted and not used for anything else but Qu. I’m pretty sure the connection will wake up tomorrow, when I boot the console, but nevertheless… the update shall wait until january.
P.S. I’ve gotten to terms with that scene recall- stuff, but it still sucks, Big Time. If someone really likes to work like that, I suggest he consult a doctor

2014/11/15 at 5:07 pm #43107BillCParticipantAgree, no updates when you don’t have the time to test/address any possible issues. That said, I do make time to keep drivers/firmware/software up to date.
I can confirm that two of the QU-Drive play back bugs have been fixed:
– Last 3 seconds of stereo playback being cut off.
– 35+ titles now works -
